ok so. uh. fortunately i saw that one comment talking about the characterization of jiheon and well, it helped me get through this and appreciated it more than i would've had otherwise. the commentor was right; jiheon's annoying stubborness was a really good characterization on his part. made me lowkey think season 2 really has well-designed characters in general.

the director was a textbook manipulator, it made me shiver. us as readers can tell he's straight up trash just from reading this, bc we expected him to be a bad person, but when i think that shits like this happen irl: a fan, whose judgement was already biased in favor of their idol, being manipulated by said idol bc the fan usually refuses to see they were being manipulated...... ouu yeah i've heard that song before. jiheon trusting him was also very in character to himself, bc initially taehwa only brought up "rumors" when telling him what was wrong with the creepy ass director, and jiheon has always thought rumors are all baseless. and also the fact that jiheon had a history of being overly protected by a close friend who ended up hurting him in the process. and even at the end, where jiheon kept repeating "i cant give you anything, why do you bother helping me. im the only one to blame" ouuuuu i love the trauma response. but the small change in his outlook to rumors also shows his growth.

i love that part where taehwa gave up too tbh. i bet it must be exhausting, bc on god im exhausted myself. but i really love that he's just so down bad his first instinct is to always return to him.. bro got DESPERATE desperate.

tho i'll say. yeah. what the fuck that was so hard to read. so annoying. im gonna punch the director in the face. and cut his balls into at least 5 pieces. pathetic ass disgusting powertripping mf. can someone tie him up and throw him into a shark manifested ocean rq.

i was seriously second guessing myself when i was gonna read it... bc the comments sounded really bad ? but im glad i went through with this one. its really good. frustrating, kinda, but i really love the story so im gonna let it pass. after all both of them were still kids. im glad the teacher was actually a good person too. it felt nice and refreshing, sadly. the timeskip was annoying tho. the angst was good, but damn the time skip felt unnecessary and annoying. it adds too little for a 4 year time skip like ????? but other than that i love this one.
