honestly? the rape scene? unnecessary and disgusting. there is NO reason to put our that scene at ALL and to draw it out precisely in some pages. he was a god damn yakuza leader goddammit? i just went on crying at the whole panel even after i covered them with my hand and leaving space so i could read the dialog. it was painful to read and it DIDN'T have any good reason to be there at all. he can like torture him idk but honestly? goddammit. it was good until the start of chapter 3.

I also don't get why this scene was necesary but it feels like in every single yakuza story gang rape is always in there! So it feels like the author really needed to put? not like it could helps advance the story
Theyre yakiza. They've seen/done worse things. You have to consider that they really do live in a different world. Sex to them is prob nothing. This was prob just like being spit at for him. You can't think of it from a normal view.
Couldn't agree more. I see that like a scene do humiliation. Hurting him with guns and knives would be aggressive, rape is degrading and humiliating, above anything else it's disrespectful, it's not done to kill him off, to make him ware of other group or any reason of conflict between different groups, was just disrespect of his power and his body.
I absolutly agree with the humiliation part and everything, but like this manga do not have the atmosphere for this you know ? like it's not supose to be dramatic or tragic or whatever lol so why is it in there~
Well, I haven't seen the raws so I can't say for sure nor anything but it *could* be building to a more dramatic path or it was just there as a plot device so we could meet the "villain" and what he was capable of (and for such petty reasons). But you ARE right, it wasn't a necessary scene, still, I think it can be of some usage and become important if the relationship of the MC with the villain is going to be explored.
I mean, I really I'm expecting some bigger reason than "everybody does this in their yakuza manga so I'm doing too"… that'd be lame.
It's a yakuza plot. There's gotta be some dirty stuff here or else it's pointless to include yakuza. You can't have fluffy yakuza or they wouldn't BE yakuza.

honestly the whole book is such a nice journey! its really funny and interesting and the ending is A++ (and the fact tje god is the seme? gold). i like this one a lot!
