I know we all hate the top. Like maybe I don’t hate him that much but I just reread the whole thing because I was like where did it all go wrong. The lack of communication I mean after he said what he said about the bottom, thinking they were dating there should’ve been a conversation. Instead of him standing out in the rain and falling apart he needed to sack up and define what was actually going on with them. I mean he wasn’t speaking to him and having a pity party in the rain. Like nah, we gonna talk this shit out. Then he bounced and left the country after having sex with him. He literally snuck away, hiding himself, washing the blankets and everything. Like a proper convo would have been amazing
what are you on about? it’s not issue about communication, doyoon knew that yejun wanted them to date but he just wanted their relationship to stay as friends with benefits when they were at college. yejun literally asked him and doyoon said they were friends, and when they meet again 5 years later he even mocked yejun for wanting love from him. and yeah yejun didn’t speak to doyoon after he slept with him during his rut but doyoon already said things were over between them, what more was there to say?
He asked are we dating? and he replied dating? Ah I feel kind of bad. I have always thought of us as friends with benefits but I guess you thought differently? That last comment was a question. That’s not a full conversation or the end of a conversation. He asked, he replied with what he thought, asked him a follow up question and dude ran off and didn’t speak with him. He ignored him outside while he was talking and he stated that they should just end this and he did not reply so he walked away. It’s not like he forced him to continue to be friends with benefits. Unless there are future chapters with the whole convo then it’s whatever. And yeah they had stopped talking by the time they had sex for the last time but he knew the dude was off his rocker and bolted without a word. Even if there could have been love between them, leaving country after having sex without a word when dude had no memory of what had occurred is crazy. Now anything he did to after all that is not excusable but he’s not the only villain in the story. It’s like every other BL where the MC can’t communicate to the ML their feelings and misinterprets shit but the art is good.
there’s no misinterpretation tho. if the ml wanted anything more than fwb with the mc when they were in college, just judging from his personality he would have said so. and the ml is the one who put forth the idea they should end things, he could’ve easily asked for them to start dating if he wanted that but he didn’t. how is this a story where the mc can’t communicate his feelings? the ml obviously knows the mc has been in love with him since back in college, as i said, he literally mocks the mc for wanting love between them. he doesn’t take their relationship seriously and never has. if he did, there’s nothing stopping him in the present from simply telling the mc “i have feelings for you”. it’s just sex between them, the ml has only shown lust for the mc so far

I don't think having a convo w/ Ian with at that point would have done any good, since Ian had clearly said: "Let's END this". He KNOWS Noah wanted more than just FWB relationship and that's not something he wants. Having a convo about it would not have made any difference. At the time, all Ian had wanted was a FWB relationship. Fast fwd Five years after they'd left off, he's been now mate bonded, and he wanted and kid and Noah. So now they're together. The time they should be communicating is NOW. Back then Ian didn't wanted a relationship, and never sought out Noah.
Having had sex with him, he was scared because he shouldn't have been there in the first place. The reason for washing the sheets remains elusive to me.
