I read the ending twice but can not understand what happened with the mother , the drawing doesn't make sense to me much. Was he sexually abused or brutally abused by the mother? How the hell the mother went into coma ? ><,
He saw his brother and mother and got mad and her and probably beat his mother to almost death.
Mother sexually abused his brother, and when he found out he beat her. He didn't want to admit what happened to protect the brother, but brother decided to confess everything.
This might be kinda late reply, but the younger twin (seme) beats up the mother, and he goes to prison or something, saying that he did it because the mother would hit them (a lie). That's him talking to the guy at the end. the older twin (uke) sends him that letter, after he confesses everything, saying that it was actually sexual abuse.

No no, the older twin/uke did not go to prison. The younger twin lied and said that he beat the mother up because she was being abusive (he didn't want to embarrass his brother by saying he was raped by how own mother I guess). The guy you see being interrogated at the end was the younger twin/seme, the one who is refusing to talk
Later, the interrogator says that the older twin tried to confess everything so that the younger twin can get out of prison or something, and the older twin also writes that letter at the end.
ahh, sorry that's what i meant, i mixed them up. but why did he still go to prison if the older twin confessed that their mother was abusing him?

Uke wrote that around the time he confessed so we don't know if seme was released or not (and they couldn't know it either), but uke said he would wait (in case they don't release seme). I would also like a sequel with a happy ending, but if you think logically seme can't be too long in jail because they are minors and if they believed uke's confession the reasons that lead seme to beat his mother would shorter his sentence.

I'm so lucky I have full volume of this, it's one of my most fav shoujo since its idea is very original, the love concept depicted is not really dramatically intense but still managed to convey a deep meaning of love. When the immortal beasts get bestowed with the love they keep seeking for millions years, they will truly ascend to heaven..ahem..no spoiler ~.~ so I'll stop.

I bought manga vol 1-4 in English on eBay. Unfortunately, that is just part of the story and I can't get the rest because the publisher discontinued the English version. I too, would love to find out where it could be found in a single volume (a novel?), but it would have to be in English for me.
The story is amazingly good, if only it's subtle genre weren't SA since it limits the readers while infact the SA element is not presented much in the story.
And if only the art style is a bit more compelling sicne its stories are so beautiful, they echoe in my heart like a song of this beautiful life :)
The drawing style looks so familiar to me, isn't it that of " Kokou no hito" mangaka?
