i wasnt expecting much but this somehow still surprised me in how bad it was. the story wasn't even interesting, the only compliment i can give is to the artstyle in the sides which was honestly beautiful. but besides that this is a total blob, just a concept of a yandere-esque story and a failed alphaxalpha
Topic section is finally back so I can write about this!!! I loved this story; honestly it got just a little confusing around the middle with the introduction to the monarchs, but I figured it out eventually lol. Sung Jinwoo is the ultimate OP protagonist. He's just damn cool. I can't wait for the anime ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I love this story but as a non-novel reader i really do think the manhwa vers. could have benefitted from a little more exposition, especially starting from the chairman's death. Like I feel like everything's moving a little fast considering the fact that a lot of major characters have been introduced in the last few chaps. Im not hating tho this is my all time favorite !!!
this story and https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/soulmate_yuri/ have basically the same premise, vibe, and quality. that being said, this one is worse, and i think its a good example of how length really affects the way a story can be told. there was no time for relationship building, and we had to be told that they were close instead of being shown. even in the interactions between these two that we did see, it was awkward and they dont seem like people who have been friends for a while. plus there was BARELY an ending. anyways go read soulmate(yuri) because its a fucking amazing story with the exact same plot.
ik people are against it but tessa's about as planned and introduced as you can get. she was basically there from the beginning. sure arthur had some other love interests but they were pretty obviously not going to go anywhere, at least the way i see it. plus shes strong so...idc. i actually kind of like ig
spoilers:
i actually really liked the story. the concept, while not the first of its type, is refreshing. i really liked the twist with the mark, and i honestly think the story could have ended there. i dont wanna sound mean but the last like 7 chapters with the rumor and flashbacks were not only confusing, but unecessary. i liked hyun as a character, cause its rare to find a character that naive and starry eyed without them being annoying pushovers. plus ivan was really sweet and probably one of my favorites. i liked alek ONLY because he acted like jumin and looked like zen from mm
+ im usually not one to really care too much about artstyle as long as its not awful, but i really liked the art in the beginning and i was kinda sad to see the style change so much. i liked both but i think the style was really cool, and it reminded me of the story Never Understand !! :)

i loved everything about this until the drugging and the rape. completely unecessary and set a strange tone for the rest of the story. idk whats up with bl authors and SA scenes but it in fact is possible to incur the same sort of emotion without assault. lazy writing and a gross disservice to the character building that the author did thus far.
art was GORGEOUS though. if you can find it in you to pretend that the rape scenes don't happen (surprisingly easy in this story, again showing how unecessary they were) then this story is pretty solid. generic? yes. but generic ≠ bad imo
ALSO the monster cock made me laugh when i saw it. yaoi hands got replaced by yaoi dick. with every passing year the average bl penis size increases by an inch and a half.
