I am of the belief that people deserve the chance to atone, but that it does not erase what they have done.
People act like this is a black-and-white situation, to forgive or not to forgive. But you can allow someone to try and better themselves, to be kind to them and let them stay by you, without actually forgiving them entirely.

Sorry to null the question by saying this, however, as far as I am concerned, as soon as any type of creator or artist makes their work public, it becomes its own separate entity.
You should be able to enjoy a piece of music or read a story without extraneous factors ruining it for you in an era where joy is already so hard to grasp. (And especial...... 1 reply
Hey there, as someone on the other side of a similar issue (i.e. a friend of mine went off their meds and I had to loose contact with them for genuine mental health and physical safety reasons) I truly think it’s best to let them choose to contact you first.

As someone who also pertains an interest to those of a scruffy nature, I am sorry to say, there simply are not a lot. The best you can get is neat hair but with a bit of a beard. And even less common are those without a large age gap.
