A bit specific but, does anyone know of any stories with a bodyguard/subordinate/partner type of character who isn’t human?
Something like working with a contracted demon or the classic vampire hunter who is a vampire but his boss is human.

Genre doesn’t matter, but some action or adventure would be ideal. Bonus points for bromance.

I would love for Mangago to have a “Dropped” category among the “Want to read” and “Already read” options.
Every now and then I begin reading something only to think, ‘wait a minute, I had started reading this before’ and then eventually drop it again for the same reasons I hadn’t remembered until now.

Definitely, that'd be a nice feature. I honestly just mark stories as 'already read' just for this reason and keep them in a list of dropped

i have a personal "Dropped" tag that i use because i really cant be bothered to read something i already hated before

I need some help remembering the title to a zombie manwha, if anyone knows it.

The undead were entirely conscious, and basically like normal people that (I think) were hunted by the government or some organisation despite still having their humanity.
The main guy had white hair, played the guitar and had a crush on an idol(?). There was a secondary character whose face was left as just a skull, and he was a chronic smoker.
I remember a strangely heartfelt scene that referenced ‘Photograph’ by Nickelback of all things, and the work may have opened up with ‘Creep’ by Radiohead? I think there was an Oasis song in there too.
… You’d think I’d be able to find it if I remembered it well enough, but alas, I am hoping someone can aid me here.

Does anybody have any reccs for a supernatural straight romance or BL where one of the characters isn’t human? To specify, I really mean “does not look human and/or does not know how to act human”

I love a good supernatural story, but half the time, the “monster” is just a guy in a suit who is every part human apart from maybe some horns sometimes.

Delyn♪ May 11, 2025 3:50 am

Might be a long shot, but does anyone have any reccs for a manga set around the 40’s? A couple decades earlier or later is fine, but preferably no later than the 80’s, and chock full of slang and old phrases. The genre doesn’t matter, I’m just looking for a fun reference for writing an older character.

Don't have anything specific to rec but saw this list which might have what you're looking for? https://www.mangago.zone/home/mangalist/2896710/

Go find something in your ‘I want to read’ list.

To any who need a reason to stop searching and to actually use your damn list. This is it. This is your sign. Read away.

To anyone here who writes for a hobby and happens to see this, I can near guarantee this work is worth a read to get some inspiration going, especially if you like moody/dreary themes;

Even if you don’t, if this can get even one other person to read this, I would feel delighted

Does anyone have any light-hearted, food related manga? Something homey or even romantic is fine, just not something with a competitive atmosphere, though I don’t mind a bit of drama either

This might sound a little silly, but I’ve been struggling with the motivation to eat lately but I find that reading about certain things helps motivate me best

What have people been using the ‘bookmark’ feature for? I don’t think it’s any more convenient than leaving a tab open, so for me personally (as I am an artist), I tend to simply bookmark pages I think would be good for reference or showcase art-styles I enjoy

I’m curious what other people use it for, if at all

    ninin October 16, 2024 10:37 am

REALLY useful if you read manhwas that are still on-going and updating at a slow pace. the history feature on here resets if you're logged out. otherwise if you don't bookmark any readings you're going to forget where you're at.

    Gurl October 16, 2024 10:39 am

I use it to bookmark, i don't like having too many tabs open, its easy to just mark the chp where I left reading and then come back to it when i feel like reading it again, all my "I'm reading" stories are bookmarked. I love the feature. ╮(^▽^)╭

Master Of Unpopular Opinions October 16, 2024 11:21 am

I bookmark the stuff i started but got bored with.
    Might resume someday.
    Might not.

    Byygvy October 16, 2024 11:25 am

I use it for things that I know I won’t want to reread from the beginning (if I were to pick it back up/read new updates!)
I rarely use the feature, but now I think I might start to use it for drawing references aswell!! Smart(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Anyone know of a decent adventure manga—fantasy, isekai, or just anything—where the protagonist is an adult?

I don’t mind anything, as long it’s a middle aged guy on an adventure
