This one had some interesting enough little moments and enough personality to be worth the read for me, even with its pacing issues. Though the one thing that truly bothered me were the amount of inconsistencies in the plot…
Saying he can’t talk when in bird form, only to do it later. And that the magic whatever ring doesn’t work in the demon castle/grounds and then they use it there anyway. Also one character’s deep-rooted desire to punish himself mysteriously vanishes from his very being without any actual character growth. Basically, turn your brain off a little for this one, and it’s a nice and simple read
