i mean yea the whole drama with their parents not supporting them rly is a headache. i find chinese manhua like these always add the most predictable angst… don’t blame u at all that u don’t wanna reread this. anyway i was straying off topic- the extra chapters start on ch 141 so it rly isn’t a lot. the main story pretty much ended, and it was happy. i personally liked it! tho obvi it would better with a better TL. ***im gonna explain what happens in the extra chaps as well as yu han’s identity. this is sorta unsolicited so i understand if u don’t wanna read***
it’s an AU where yu han is a god-like deity that has the ability to grant wishes if one plucks his beard. in a legend, yu han is an old man who lives in a cave. luo linyuan (our blond mc) journeys to find yu han and wishes to find the most handsome man in the world and make him his husband…
yu han was trapped in the cave due to a curse, which is what allowed him to grant wishes. unfortunately linyuan plucks his last beard whisker, freeing yu han from the cave. thus, yu han lost the ability to grant wishes for others when linyuan plucked out his last whisker
when yu han was freed, he became his hot guy self again (likely bc the curse isn’t affecting him anymore). ofc linyuan is attracted to him. linyuan graciously takes yu han in to his house as yu han has no where to go. yu han practically has nothing- no money, no nada.
they fall in love. linyuan asks yu han to fulfill his wish. yu han accepts/says he’s willing to but asks linyuan to wait for him (i.e.wait for to find a place in the modern world, get a job, settle down, have better husband traits i think)
linyuan says “but you can’t make me wait too long.” then, happy ending again yay.
it’s an interesting extra… but i liked the ending. it was pretty heartwarming and cute. kinda anticlimactic tho
