I've just finished reading ch 49 idk what just happened someone help pls
Since the butler is flawed (because he threatened Ines to disclose her condition to Carsel) she then threatening him with his family in the name of her maiden surname. He'll help her to keep an eye for Raul because she knows his loyalty to her is beyond that he can turn his back to her for her own good (she knows Raul likes Carsel for her cause he makes her smile)
Plus the butler can drive Carcel to divorce her after she gave birth
(That's what she is saying that the butler will help her by keeping her mental condition until 1year or after she'll give birth)

Everyone's saying that the plot is very boring and vanilla but man I sure am eating it up real good for some reason. Idk, with everything being extra nowadays, having a really vanilla and predictable plot seems just up my alley. It's a good read at least for me, haha.
