It is a very generic plot, but what gets me is how mc has a really flat personality. Maybe it's the lack of different facial expressions, or how the story feels like a narrative of mc at times. The illustrator is quite decent at drawing anger (the fight with the noble and MC's past) but other than that his expressions and reactions are all very 2d. Like his emotions always seem to float around the same intensity, and sometimes it seems that he is just doing things for the sake of doing it due to the lack of emotion in that action.

I think it's really hard to find such a person practically, since so many stories with male leads also have a female lead if there is romance or harem. Ig it depends of OP's definition of lead character, but still it is probably damn hard to find such a person. If there really is someone that would go as far as to avoid all stories containing women......

I've read a lot of mangas and manhwas with a female main protagonist, and I will say that this was a top tier read. I like how the MC is consistently portrayed as strong and independent, but more so how the plot is actually realistic yet still exciting, how the pacing is just right, and especially how the romance is basically non-existent so far.

From what I can see, a lot of people say that the reason they mildly dislike the story is because it is "frustrating" how the mc is so OP but is "used" by the people around her, and doesn't just snap and go on her own path. While her powers gives her a unique advantage, I would say that she is far from OP. Her powers can literally be countered by wearing some artifacts nullifying effects of her power, and she herself admits this in a chapter, especially when she is not fit physically. There are even others with the same powers as her, so it really isn't even that unique.

Moreover, I have never felt once that the people around her were using her. She simply had similar aims and agendas as her teammates, or different agendas but it being a win win situation for both parties. No one begged, guilt tripped nor forced her to do what she did, and she had complete control over her actions. I don't get why ppl need the protagonist to be a loner or a rebel for them to be interesting. Even when she exerted herself, it was because she wanted or she needed to, and I'm sure that her teammates wouldn't had let her overexert herself if they knew she was actually gonna collapse.

And why exactly should she go about doing her own things when the most advantageous position is literally beside her teammates, one royalty with his knight and a super rich merchant? Too many stories portray protagonists going to do their own thing as a boss move, and sometimes it is a necessary move to escape a toxic environment, but this is completely unnecessary in this story when the protagonist is thriving in her original setting. Also an unpopular opinion, but protagonists that succeeded in doing things their way literally have plot armour, coz so many things can go wrong when you make a sudden decision to go down a different path that might not succeed. Taking such a risk is only realistic if the original environment was so bad that taking the risk is a better option, or after conducting a risk assessment and having a plan for all undesirable outcomes.

Finally, one thing I love about this manga is how the MC doesn't give a shit about romance. I mean we all know that prince boy is prob gonna be the ml, but there is no flirting, no blushing around each other, no personality changes due to love and no irrelevant story arc given entirely to develop the rls btwn the mc and ml. Our mc is the definition of an independent woman, and this is so rare to see especially in mangas, even manhwas. And realistic too, since in battle and conflict who is gonna care about love? Of course there are moments where there is fan service or hinting a rls such as ml getting confused when he found out mc was a girl, but it never developed into anything. Which is also realistic coz why would a male fall in love with his teammate that he fought and bickered with just because they suddenly revealed they're of the opposite gender? They are still the same person on the inside right? And the ml wasn't like woman = weak and frail, and still viewed her as a reliable partner, which is such a great part of this story.

People think that a strong and independent woman must have no flaws, recieve 0 help from males or others in general, and be a super badass mf crushing everyone in her path. But how is that different from toxic masculinity where we expect males to take on everything by themselves coz they are "strong"? Imo our mc is strong but by no means perfect, and that what makes her lovely since she is still so brave and determined despite her past, and she really deserves the world.

Edit: thanks for explaining the plot hole bit guys, now I understand the story a little better now

Quite a unique story with pretty decent art, only there seems to be some plot holes I don't understand (spoiler alert)

The original skill of hers said that she will randomly receive ingredients to work with every day, so how can she plan out the dishes she will serve for the next 50 days? She doesn't have a choice in the ingredients right? And although "hunter points" were mentioned, they never mentioned what they are used for, which I think is a shame.

This could have been a story about how the mc earns these points, upgrades her cooking gear/space with her points and resources, and become the elusive food truck owner teleporting randomly to people in need. However what we got is the mc begging the spirit to upgrade/remodel the food truck and the spirit reluctantly agrees to do it for her. Like isn't the food truck owner HER skill? Why is she not the one in charge of upgrading, and is instead portrayed as helpless in front of the spirit?

Speaking of which, I get that the spirit is cute but its attitude is quite annoying. "You are not a hunter, you are a food truck owner" like why is it so controlling over what the mc does? What's wrong with a food truck owner fighting? Can she not fight with her truck? Of course she can, seen in the latest chapters. I get that it has the "best" intentions for the mc, but honestly if something goes wrong, the author should just let it go wrong. It only makes for a more interesting story, at least more interesting than a cat throwing a tantrum.

It had a unique concept at first, being reincarnated as a demon lord in control of a dungeon of his own, being able to buy stuff from his original world using points. But slowly this concept started to fade away, there was little to no mention of the progression of the dungeon, point aquirement or anything related to the dungeon. It became your cliche, OP-for-no-reason protagonist whose only struggle is not being able to protect his weaker harem partakers. Plus a bunch of romance and "comedy" about mc getting involved with little girls, cheating and prostitution even though he isn't. Really not my type of humor and the appeal has faded for me. Too bad I guess, was hoping for more.

My new favorite cooking manhwa, a chill story with a good mix of comedy and serious cooking, and I like the fact that mc can go back to his original world rather than just being stuck in the new world. Art is also pretty good and very expressive, and I love the tail wags!

People are saying that this sort of personality is unique, and I agree but not exactly in a good way. I love MCs that want to hide their identity and not attract attention, but not to the point of willingly sacrificing another life (not saving someone's child and just staying on the sidelines). I love aloof and not pushover MCs, but not ones that are genuinely lazy, can't clean up after themselves, have no manners and act like spoilt brats. Plus the gaslighting? Man it is so frustrating.

Let's be real, if this girl was a side character everyone would be calling her an annoying bish and wanting her gone. I do feel sorry for what happened to her dad, but it doesn't excuse her current personality since she made herself forget all about it. Plus I dislike golden spoon MCs, no progression and straight to being OP. Ngl I'm still not exactly sure what her power even is lmao. Changing and editing reality or sth?

STILL, I want to have some hope in the story (definitely not because the art is too good to give up on). Her childishness could be what makes her human. I can see how her being smart yet powerless whilst young could lead her to develop such an apathetic and spoilt personality. I just wish to know whether there is any character development and improvement in her personality, because if this continues I might not be able to continue reading this .... So plEase any spoilers?

Bro the MC is such a pushover... I love a kind mc who isn't shrewd and helps others frequently, but this guy is on another level. He gives revolutionary stuff away practically for free, and whenever someone causes trouble (iykyk), he just forgives them like nothing. Even when some adventurers came and rudely asked him for help to make potions to get rid of this monster, basically all the work was pushed onto him, from figuring out the problem, making the potion and even the application of the potion onto the monster. And he wasn't even compensated well for it.

As the MC continues to forgive everyone with a smile, I think I'm the one going crazy with frustration. He just doesn't feel 3 dimensional with his constant happy go lucky attitude
