I read it in one go! The story was good at first then it got swarmed with flashbacks, there was even one for a spare key that Daniel gave to Ruth, wtf
And Elia really didn't change that much till the end, what was wrong? He could easily beat up the mayor's son to a pulp and even nearly kill him, but he couldn't protect his own ass? He was like a damsel in distress all the time!
And what the heck was wrong with Daniel? Was he bipolar, borderline, or DID? One day he is bitchy and an asshole, another day he is supportive and a lover boy?
Tbh I can't really say I enjoyed the second half, it was torture
FYI he burnt the kid as well, you're welcome
Actually he didn't!!
The kid became his butler - you see him in chapter 5, half way through, he greets his brother and coworker - there is a maid and a butler. You see the butler much more clearly when he brings the fiance in and takes her coat. The butler had black hair and the distinct mole, same as the little boy who looked just like his brother, but with the mole.
So crazy blondie saved the little boy, and then brought him in as his servant to further take care of him. The little boy knows his secrets so he keeps him close and likely enjoys a good life before he resembles the older brother as a child, so blondie probably has a soft spot for him.
I actually love that the author showed that - in that regard, the little brother is better than the father because his 'evil darkness' is his obsession with his big brother, and that lit a righteous fire under his ass that had him killing their father as well as every servant that complied with the father torturing his brother. He only saved the little boy with the mole because he resembled his brother at that point (having let the girls get killed), but really love that the author made sure that we saw the little boy grew up to be the butler and was even smiling, so he's probably well taken care of and content with his new life as one of only two servants - and very likely the only one that blondie trusts, since he knows his deepest, darkest secret.
Cedric never killed people with his father unlike Theo , he killed all demons like all the old staff who saw Theo getting tormented but never helped him in mansion and replace it with his own people. So he probably put many of them in mansion ground after killing them . So this area is probably full of ghosts not single but many not that it matters to cendric in any way. As long theo is by his side.
This is one of those novels that should have never seen the light of day as a manhwa smh

That kid reminds me of myself when I was a kid, I blurted out anything that came to my mind, I was unstoppable, the perks of having ADHD
