Guys read more novels, you clearly lack imagination and therefore empathy, you don't need to put yourself in her shoes or even understand her, just stop the hate, it's not a good look for a reader! You seem quite immature yourselves, so what gives you the right to criticize her?

And she understood her mistake of intervening in someone else's business! As a reader, I can understand her if I put myself in her shoes (truly becoming her) then I can see the relevancy. Details are important in a story, but many readers love overgeneralization, it's easy and answers my overwhelmed emotions. An experienced readers however is not as judgmental (I can say it since I hold a master degree in literature)
And I am a bit dyslexic, so that's even more disappointing for me to see people not caring about ALL the characters. Only holding the main couple as important is what I did as a teenager.

Even if we understand her, It's not like she made an effort to fit in due to her parent's neglect...she just ran away to the village (valid, not critizing her actions) but for her to put effort (unnecessary at that) at making ML 'fit in' feels strange.
U have to consider mc too, who she did not even consider would be affected by her actions and proceeded to try to set ml up with girls.

That's right, that's her error as a character, doesn't make her a tragic hero,not at all, she's certainly flawed, but not homophobic, she is lost as what she can do for others not to end up as her ... alone. So I get your point, she too needs to face her problems instead of dragging othes into hers. Tho people's reactions were way more intense, as they did not get her (if they don't even get what kind of mistake she committed, then how can they criticize her? I just got disappointed, it seemed as if they copy pasted each others' comments. Which is okay, but a sheep move.

I do understand everyone else tho, her backstory does seem irrelevant because no one excluded her explicitly? No one hated her or refused to support her when she was in the city, she herself felt lonely/othered, and decided to to run away.
Now if u compare or try to relate that to her actions that she took, actions of trying to set someone up because of all the mental gymnastics one has to do, to come to the conclusion of 'loneliness from parental neglect' = (potential) 'loneliness from being an unconventional couple'....does not work well honestly.
I personally think it's okay to hate a poorly written character.
Author had, as many others mentioned, better ways to have made her character more sympathetic to the readers, but author has clearly failed to do so with her backstory.

I mean how did mention her story is specific to her, the main aim was to get the characters talking about their relationship and establish it, author could've definately done a better job at leading up to this moment, not denying how endearing their conversation was, just agreeing that the girl's input seemed irrelevant.
If someone tells me they were neglected as a child I would feel sympathetic towards them, sure.
But if the said someone (mi ok is an adult i believe) spread my number around town to force me into a heterosexual relationship against my will, and shows no remorse for their actions? See now that's something manhwa characters can forgive, and perhaps you op will forgive too, but I and most people would have kept their distance from such individuals.

It is, I've read a lot of shoujo and this's one of the good ones so far! It's cute and the art is magnificent! The main character isn't the one being reincarnated, so she is really a child with a heart of gold (kind, honest, and smart)
I should've emphasized on the art, ITS ART IS MAGNIFICENT (I'd still read it anyway, mind you, only for its art)
