Kinda same experience here. I like BL because somehow.....the mc has a motive? Recommend me some top-tier stuff that made u realise that the characters in that story are quite smart.

Like it could have some really heavy politics with people scheming behind each other's back or have a very complex crime scene, paired up with a smart detective (or maybe a criminal ??).
