THANK GOD, I heard there was a very nasty part with Mikyle locking up Angie, but it looks like the manhwa author didnt want to go SO dark into this story. Without that fucked up part it sure is a good read, Angie didnt have it easy but she also didnt suffer the horrible things that someone said ahe suffered in the novel. 17 chapters so far and I dont enjoy this story at all. I feel incredibly frustrated with each chapter. A 20 y.o who keeps crying all the DAMN time, just literally for no reason. He dosent get simple signals and cant speak his damn mind, hes 20, not 12 (╯°Д °)╯╧╧. Both leads piss me off because they keep playing some dumb as fuck word games and neither will try to resolve the issue between for so many chapters already, someting like that is common, the basic miscommunication but they are keeping this for so many chapters and It was even written in a way one can enjoy it. In "Why are you so kind to everyone but me" they have a misunderstanding but its enjoyable to read because one the characters personalities were written very well, MC cried only when he thought ML was dating a girl bc he was heartbroken. The MC in this story sees the guy - he cries, talks to the guy - he cries, hugs the guy - he cries, is protected by him - he cries. Sorry but those characters were written extremely poorly, can say its a good read so far
Okay, I got to the 71 chapter, the further the better at some point. The first like 30 chapters it was just frustrating, later the author's artstyle got better and the characters got some development, the author started to show us their past and their thoughts which was big step ahead, since in the first chapters all we can say is that Hwan is obssessed for literally no reason, ML is obsessive but also weird, he wants something but we have no idea what, we have no idea what he thinks about Hwan and so on. But later the author actually goes into their thoughts and motivation and everything is not so messed up and with no sense anymore. You have to suffer the first half of the story to actually GET TO THE STORY, but I think it was a good read after all. I wont reread it, but It sure will be stuck in my mind for a while
+I was so confused before ML's past was shown, we were thrown in the middle of the story without explanation at all, and the sect, cults, monks, mountains, blood devils, midnight forest, gosu and so on was just nothing to me because I had no idea what those are and how theyre related. It was explained a bit to late in my opinion, it would be much better if it happened before bc I had no idea what I was reading until the author finally threw some light on what kind of world it is.
I really like the guy who offered to be her way out, he clearly likes her but doesnt want to take advantage of her. He just sees how miserable she is and wants her to know that shes not locked up, that he's there as her friend who will help her leave this fucked up situation if she wants. Everyone can see how sick this situation is, she's a raised-in bride with only the purpose of bearing children, her every move is controlled, her marriage partner doesn't care about her, he has no single spare thought for her, she depends on them to survive, be educated and have a home. She really needs someone like that guy who sees her as an intelligent young woman who can have a bright future as a researcher instead of a birthing-machine duchess. Its do fucked up that ML just called her a whore simply because there's someone who actually can see her suffering and wants to help. ML didnt think at all that he had good intentions but instead BLAMED FL that she has a real friend AND CALLED HER A WHORE, A FUCKING WHORE JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS GRATEFUL THAT THERE'S FINALLY SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT HER AS A PERSON NOT AN ACCESSORY. I hate this guy, i hate him so fucking much, he says she's loose with other men and then proceeds to treat her like a prostitute, no, even worse, he starts to behave like a fucking predator and RAPES HER. This piece of shit deserves to be alone

Im suprised, this story is not so cliche and unlike in most stories the father and brother still have to kill the FL even if they love her and they have actual reason for that. Its not suprising that the goddess turned out to not be a saviour and she left on purpose since she started to despise humans. Its acrually a good read, hope the 2nd season will come out soon

Okay, so there are two people we should hate to death: the emperor and Lilith's mother. If someone didnt realise Lilith's mother is the blond woman from the first chapter. In her first life Lilith was taken away from her father by the emperor's people and the reason they were found was the mother who told the emperor their location. She was taken to the imperial palace and met her mother, after assesing her rank of power (which is the same as the emperor, a Primera) she brought her to the emperor to tell him about it. The emperor was extremely happy since Primera's power steals life force and ages a person and here he had a young Primera he could force to use her power in his stead. At first she was a hostage to force her dad to listen to emperor's orders, but when emperor found out shes Primera he decided to use his power on her, since he is superior to her in terms of power (because shes still young) and completely erased her ego and use her as a machine to use her power insted of himm it caused her to age rapidly but her mind was broken and all she could do was doing what she was told and the only thing she remembered was her dad and she constantly talked about him. He forced her to make the strongest mage obey him. At first the mage hated her but then he realised shes just a broken child, he started to take care of her and raised her. He came to love her like his own child. She was precious to him just like she was precious to her dad. The dad was told she was dead but her mother was well aware that she was being kept by the emperor as a tool, but never told the dad anything because she had a deal with the emperor that for sacrificing Lilith and staying quiet he will give immunity to her son so that he will be a researcher no matter the rank and will never be sent to the battlefield. Years went by and her dad took in a boy whom he raised and decided to take revenge on the emperor with the boy. In the end they killed the emperor but then Lilith who was completely brainwashed appeared and started killing everyone in sight. The boy decided to kill Lilith because he couldnt let her just kill everyone. The mage tried to protect the emperor so that Lilith wont be ordered to come out to fight, but in the end he was killed and order that was issued to Lilith started working, he tried protecting Lilith as well but failed in the end. The empire found peace, but Lilith's dad couldnt get over her death. He went to the mage who loved his daughter as much as he did and asked him if its possible to sacrifice his life to revive Lilith. The mage at first refused but in the end agreed. Lilith was brought to life as a little girl she was before she was taken by the emperor and looked for her dad, but mage told her he died to she could live. Lilith couldnt accept it and drowned in misery, the mage was distressed that she didnt remember all those years he spent with her and only cared about her dad. He was sad but he knew that if he didnt do something Lilith would use her power to bring Enoch back and die once again. In the end he decided to use a secret magic of turning back time that he deducted from incomplete records, but everything that he found led to the caster's disappearance from existence. He loved Lilith and decided to send her back in time and change the future, he told her "you have to remember, you cant forget, remember what happened and remember only happy things, even if im not a part of those happy memories" unfortunately all Lilith asked was: will i see my dad? And thats how Lilith's past life ended, the mage added a modification to the spell to make Lilith believe her first life was a book in order for her to keep those memories and be able to accept them more easily. And thats when the story we see starts
