TW: grape without the g, SA
-------------------------------------
Ngl in the beginning I really disliked the ML, I thought it was going to be those super cliche story line of "asshole ML meets FL and by the power of sex and plot the male turns into less of an asshole." This story started off giving that vibe to me but after I finished reading all the available chapters, I have so much respect for the FL, ML and the author. It's definitely not easy trying to write a story about male SA because even in 2021 it's something that the media does not normalize talking about. The fact that, a boy who was 13, was assaulted by a grown women, thought it was his fault that he has trauma because he's "not strong enough" and the fact that that twisted sick vile goat-faced pond scum woman used his "kingly duties" as an excuse to rape him is disgusting. The way his mother treated him is wrong. I've seen some comments saying how naive and childish the FL acts even though she is technically 30. I get where you're coming from but you gotta understand this, in her previous life, she really didn't have a childhood/ life. From the scenes that we've seen, you can tell that her previous life was just filled with trying to reach other people's expectations of her, for example going on a diet when someone asked her to and she eventually dies trying to fulfill other people's expectations. Being brought back to life gives her another chance to be herself. She's also really understanding and doesn't have the cliche "I'm innocent and beautiful because of plot and my vagina can cure all trauma" because there are times when the FL in this story can look scary and unprofessional. Although she isn' t my favorite FL, she's definitely one I can respect. The way she takes everything step by step with the ML without involving a magical therapist pussy is amazing. And the way she treats Blanche is so cute and wholesome :) Once again props to the author for covering such a dark not normalized topic in a fun, bright, smile (and sometimes cringe) inducing story.
