I think the majority of readers know that the relationship isn’t healthy. It’s still fiction so does it hurt you if other people read it? The only problem is when people start idolising such things too much, but you can’t stop that. The trope still is out there, just like many others and I think you can choose what you read, so why is it a problem in the first place? It was clear for me from the first few chapters that this isn’t going to be a heartwarming story just from the fact that there’s atleast 2 chaps of pure smut, you could’ve stopped reading there. You aren’t making the trope dissapear with a fight in the comment section overnight even if you think it’s shitty. I came here mostly because of the artstyle and I’m not the biggest fan of the story, but it’s not that outrageous at the same time. And there are a lot of more lighhearted bl’s out there yk? It’s not like the author will change the whole plot because of people whining on mangago :/
If you’re tired of this kind of thing then maybe don’t make it big yourself. Just move on and read something that suits your taste instead of reading and then complaining about bl you don’t like.

Except that's the whole point of the story romanizing this type of behavior that's literally the same thing that happen in the 2010s where all the romance books had shitty mls and the young girls that read those books (sometimes fanfictions) ended up thinking that shit was normal and getting into toxic ass relationship, I'm sure you know that the majority of bl fans are young girls that want to feel more adult, you can see them in the comment section and how they see the mls behavior as excusable.

Not gonna lie you have a point on this, especially the story idolizing toxic relationships and the fact that a lot of young girls read this thinking it’s okay. I never thought about the fact that minors read this whilewriting that because I luckily haven’t been reading bl long enough to stumble on gacha videos about it (may you rest in piece). I apologise for making a mess, I should’ve thought more about it. Perhaps I just have this dumb little hope that maybe it’s gonna be different from Bj Alex? I like the art, not the plot. It by all means sucks. I just lost it because there’s a lot of people arguing and most of them don’t really support their statements and write just for the sake of making noise, and not because they would actually want to change anything.

The art is amazing honestly it's such a shame it got wasted on such a shit story, but yeah I'm myself am one of the people that read BLS since I was younger (I think 11) and I was introduced to so much weird shit, I was made to think rape and incest were okay since it was all fiction, I was also very into the anime community so I was also made to think loli/shota stuff were okay not a great time in my life honestly but yeah as much as the comments can act like it's just a fictional story whatever fiction does effect reality
