Edit: I love this so much!!!!! They have similar looks, similar taste, and is soooo whipped to each other! Nearing the end, i cried and some moments really make me reflect on myself lol. Because its true, how envious it is to see someone fighting the world for something they love. And that's very admirable.
Now now, some people say that this is a good beginner bl. Why? Because of its simple storyline? I disagree with them saying this is for 'beginners'. True, this manhwa is a feel good story, but its rare to see one with endearing characters(main and sides), that keeps you hooked til the end without making it boring(of course there are plot holes, but its one which i can ignore lol). i appreciate the simplicity, and the growth they underwent as a person and the relationship hehe
c25 - everything sucks, except euiyong and euihyun. Man, i love euihyun he's so resilient and strongㅠㅠ as far as c25, i can see why people likes taeju, but hes in the grey area for me.
Likable things about him - chaotic funny guy,, not a heartless debt collector lol he have sympathy???? Lol funny cause it is quite a clash w his job
Unlikable things about him - u can't deny that he coerced euihyun into sex. Then, he's giving mixed signals and i hate that,, what do u want from euihyun hm?? Do u want love??? As his debtor???? LOLOLOL I know that this is the conflict but god, eihyun had suffered enough. all this time it seems like eihyun is freely given a choice, but he's not free. Haih
c34 - ooh i love how the author is going to go w this. As a dogblood troupe connoisseur, i wonder how the author will cook kept man into love.... soo, introducing the 2nd lead lol. Euihyun's psyche is soooo understandable i wished he found some friends
c100 - binged in a day... i should've predicted kidnapping plot too hahah, but i was right about stabbing to protect someone loll,,, at ch50~ there was non-con, i hate every second of it i skipped it. However, i persevere cause euihyun is just that cool. And boy at least taeju change his ways.... If euihyun forgives him then its okay, people are built differently after all (no 2nd chances w me, but what can i say lol, they're fictional). If after this second chance, taeju still fuck it up, then pls leave his sorry ass. Euiyong such a cutiepie :D

However now i know why im not satisfied reading both stories, the pacing is off. Like, too fast?? The emotional part is being glossed over/not explored well, and feels cluncky stiff...

I dislike the ml at first, but i know that he has his reasons. ive been there hahah. Though my life has a different scenario, it sucks to feel like you're talking to a wall, feeling like you are the only one invested in the predicament you are in,, especially when you know how much of a talker they are.
But in this manga, the ml himself doesn't know how to express his feelings straight forwardly, paired with a 'put your heart on ur sleeve' mc....Makes for a nice conflict ig. At least it works out at the end, that communication barrier is broken down in mls way. Lastly, reassurance and security can be expressed in many ways after all. Get ur feeling across yeah, no one can read anybodys mind. End of my ted talk lol. The artwork is flippa beautiful.
im dropping this at chp 25. Since theyre dumping everything messily, why don't the author dump why kang jin was sooooo hung up on vx. He's really putting vx on A PEDESTAL. im going to ASSUME that he's an orphan who found joy in hacking(?), being a hot blooded youth tried to hack vx and somehow vx takes him as an apprentice and he found family in zeta group. Why would he feel so guilty????? He doesn't betray them, HECK he doesn't really need to ghost his group???? He can go find them under different aliases. Why? Does he feel like a waste of a human being? Its not explored at ALLLLLLL, his psyche & his trauma is shown in one off occasion, HE HAS NO CHARACTER BACKGROUND as of chap 25, and the chasing arc is starting so i don't think I'll see it any sooner. Wasted potential, wasted wasted wasted my morning.

I'm already vexed at the early chapters. Cmon, running on foot and gun chasers. Show some scars or injury at least. Hahah. It doesn't feel intense no matter how i looked at it.
I'm only at chapter 11, but the author is really bad at foreshadowing hahah. It's fucking predictable, ml murmuring to himself I've talked to you casually before etc just makes it clear that he's VX. mc has no other background history too, no friend no whatever relationship so it HAS to be vx. In this chap, mc mentioned that his private never exposed before code is easily breached through, im not a hacker myself of course, but I'll probably check on my NEW SHINY PHONE that i got from a fucking STRANGER who COINCIDENTALLY speaks korean.
Chap 17. Yup. Wtf. Huh. So it really is the damn phone. It's so funny that a hacker of all people would say 'i don't need to be so suspicious', when his life had been threatened for NO REASON before. He's dumping all his plan to a stranger, who knew AT A GLANCE that he's rat, who could be his mortal enemy. Yeah yeah ml is vx, how surprising and shocked i am what a plot twist. The supposed black is vx too how flabbergasted i am.
Chap 19, why did he splash the manager, as of now, mc is never really portrayed as the playful type. He's passionate and concerned yes, but not playful. So it comes off as rude to me.
Chap 24. Kang jin is srsly, too gullible. Since chap idk when, he suspect that black was vx, since their modus was similar. But he never dig into it and believes that black is his fan for NO REASON other than the fact that hes helping him UNCONDITIONALLY, no payment no what not. Suspicious right? He was startled and lost his revenge target...wtf
People who say that hes an asshole is saintly as a teen huh. hes a grieving teenager, and you know what teenagers is best at? Being an asshole, especially to an unsolicited reaction.

Its great i cried a lot its so fkn dramatic, and just bcs of the drama its 4 stars. BUT assault is not addressed properly. Like srsly groping is framed as something enjoyable cause u have ur partner in ur arms wtf?? Classmates plotting rape and filming it???? No apology??
You'll either tolerate it or hate it to your core lol. All the characters have flaws, not a masterpiece but great for angsty reading mood

-otaku/otaku turned bully turned otaku : Hmm the mc forgives him toooo easily like are u kidding me?? He looked down on u, he betrayed u, he bullies u. Even if u try to justify it by saying youth etc etc,, u still hurt someone u love by bullying them???? 4 years of cold betrayal.... 4/10 not realistic but soo dramatic
-little fatty turned little handsome(aerak ure sooooo cute either way)/famous attention whore guy - hmmmm, the ml is a jerk at 10th grade. Like srsly?? I don't know how u could ever say that after being nice to them. But then again, i think that their issues are interesting, like a commenter mentioned that to be with someone u must've felt taken by their appearance at least. Even with getting to know their personality, u must be attracted to them too. (what i mean is NO WAY u'll ever think that ur partner is ugly) and i love the bonus chap since i worry so much about aerak, i just wished that there's more chapters on them (i want the guy to apologize in blood lol - and I think its possible considering his character hahah ╮(￣▽￣)╭)

-main pair yuri & jaerim : jaerim ure sooo endearing i understand why yuri falls head over heels for you. I think they're the most fleshed out characters here. Yuri is a jerk at first, but hes a softie as time goes on, make stupid decisions etc etc. Jaerim oh jaerim, you are strong, have such a positive outlook on people, have a huge sense of justice, dense at times lol#－.－) is obnoxious sometimes (￣ε(#￣)Σ. I hate that ayeon assaults jaerim with no apology. And yeahhhh it gets sooooo dramatic but i get it, it doesn't feel unnecessary and make them feel more humane. All in all 9/10 pairing (jaerim u are a cutie i could never be as strong as u esp after yuri turns his back on u)
