Just my opinion, I love how the story can change our perspective about mr. Ido depending on where the story started. In recent events/timeline, we can see how ml care and love our mc and that he is a green flag(I think?) etc. However, if the author decided on starting this story with their past life/first timeline included then proceed on ml returning to the past just to "redeem" ml, there would be some who'd still fcking hate ml. I personally don't really care since those said past life is not (yet) shown clearly, so as long as ml treats mc right, I'm fine with it.
Actually the ml wasn't a red flag from the beginning in their past life it was a misunderstanding that made them clash the mc never explained and never asked for help so we can't blame ml for everything it was a sad first life but come look at how the ml going abord to fix mc life yet mc still don't see it.
