This is pretty funny so far, I honestly wouldn't mind even if no one ends up together and they all just stay friends OR, EVEN BETTER, if it turned into a poly relationship! The banter between them all is great and their personalities mesh well together!
MC is such a sly fox (pun intended); "We don't have to keep our distance outside of school, right? " like sheeesh let this flirt graduate from her demon school already with these smooth words she spews!
But bruh, why is she bragging about how she got the car to a little kid? Weird flex, but OK.
Shitty redhead, jealousy makes you look uglier than you usually are. What a prick!
Finally, they met! It's too bad the MC didn't recognise her through the disguise, though. ALSO, I feel bad for the p'Captain? guy, he seems like a nice dude, but the lesbians gotta win this one.
LMAO NOT THE MAID SCHOOLING THEM
Also, relatable how Evie tried to pet miss Olivia in her fox form - she's so cute! Hope there's no sudden turn into angst with the foreshadowing of the curse's power being able to backfire; I want it to stay lovey-dovey for a long time ah~
AND IT'S A SUPERNATURAL HORROR GL AT THAT!
Horror GLs are rare, glad to see more authors venture into the genre.
So far, it has an ominous atmosphere, and the FL is admittedly a bit creepy, but golly, I really like her design! Can't wait for more!!
Sigh, I hate it when I log in and check out the Yuri/Shoujo Ai tag to see if there's anything new, and there's just a re-upload of something that's already on this site! Or even worse, when it's some hetero story mistagged as a GL one.
Anyway, this is a re-upload or Kaguhara's Fetish Notebook ( https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kaguhara_s_fetish_notebook/). The story is set in high school and features an introverted and perverted girl who obsessively records her sweat fetish that manifests in her classmates (for example, one of the girls' armpits sweat excessively).
It's GL Subtext only so far, and it's probably written by a man and catered more towards a male audience with gross ecchi shots.
Yes, the story is bad. Yes, the characters are dumb. Yes, the art is the only good thing about this slop (even though the artist has a bit of a same-face syndrome).
However, I do think people hate on Lily a bit too much. It's established since the prologue that she is neglected and ignored by pretty much everyone in that house, apart from Anna. This, coupled with her inherent timid nature, would obviously make her more gullible and an easier target for someone to take advantage of, which is exactly what Rose does. The fact that Anna is also not upfront with her feelings for her must also be devastating for Lily, because she specifies that she loves her romantically and desires her sexually. NOW, TO BE FAIR, Anna has a VERY VALID REASON why she cannot bring herself to confess her feelings a bit more openly and why she can't see Lily in a sexual way - because she is her servant for the former, and because she is clearly traumatised and sex-repulsed (perhaps even asexual?) from growing up in the environment she did for the latter. HOWEVER, she should have spoken up about it when she still had her chance, yet she didn't take it, and thus Lily thought she didn't love her as much and in the same way as she did.
Now, don't get me wrong, even if it may seem like I am defending Lily as a character and her actions and yet condemning Anna's, that is not the case. I simply think that people blow their hate for Lily a bit too much out of proportion, although it is totally fine and valid to dislike her! Hell, I honestly dislike everyone in this story to a certain degree and will definitely not be re-reading this anytime soon!
Also, as a side note, Rose is the one who intentionally creates a rift between Lily and Anna and manipulates her growing doubts about both their feelings for one another and makes her believe she loves her and desires her to get her way with her. So, why are we not hating on Rose but hate Lily with such fervour?
If you actually read through this whole yapfest, then go read Tsumetakute Yawaraka (GL manga), The Heart of the Thorns (GL manhua) and Fall (GL manhwa)! They're underrated af!
So far it seems to have a bit of an angsty atmosphere, but I like the art and am interested in the story. Patiently waiting for updates!
Listen, this chapter was pretty cute, with Hime wanting to become an actual living person so that she can live and die together with Isana - VERY CUTE.
HOWEVERRRR, I suddenly remembered that Hime LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE ISANA'S FREAKING SISTER - damn it, author, you're making it so hard to root for them to end up together!
Granny's face kind of reminds me of Edna Mode from the Incredibles for some reason, please tell me someone else can see the vision I'm seeing.
Also ngl, it's been so long since this updated that I honestly don't remember much from the previous chapters, but I'm too lazy to re-read everything, sighhh.
Doomed yuri... with a slight hint of toxicity... doomed yuri, save me, doomed yuri.
I really like how the MC stood up for the FL in this chapter - the married couple is messed up, why don't they just divorce instead of dragging other people into their shitty relationship? Smh
Went into this manga with low expectations once I saw who made this, and yet I was still pretty let down - interesting character set-up ruined by loli-bait and weird-ass ecchi elements. Also, don't expect any GL - this is subtext at best.
No hate to anyone who might like this story, though!
It's a bit awkward how they both look too much like K-pop idols, tricks my brain into thinking I'm reading a doujinshi of a real person fanfiction (RPF) I'd find on Wattpad or Ao3 as a teen.
MY FAVOURITE PEAK TOXIC YURI IS BACK
Damn what a start to the season, can't wait for more chapters. Hopefully no(t too few) absolutely diabolical and downright blasphemous moments like the one in chapter 80.
