I love it when flirty characters get all shy and blushy when the other person takes the lead! I wish more GLs had this dynamic.
Also, I really hope there won't be an annoying love triangle with some new girl, but I'm on guard since this chapter with the Loch Ness Monster Search Club (what a mouthful).
First, she was a bodyguard, then a teacher for some unexplained reason, and now she is in a band?! Mid-life crisis, perhaps?
I have a feeling the author probably wrote themselves into a corner and have no idea how to carry on the story, it's been all over the place in recent chapters, but I really like the art so I'll see it through to the end.
I also really appreciate how kind Chihiro is this chapter - giving Iori the choice to decide for herself if she wants to forget her father or not.
The pages where he acknowledged his own father's misgivings and thinks about how different and easier his life would be if he didn't live with him but confirms he would never want to trade the time he shared with him anyway - my heart squeezed at that ngl.
"You returned me to the light, Saki"
