Why can't the omegas learn self defense that's the least they could do because they are so weak and the only things that they get taught is cooking and cleaning and alphas

No... that was what I meant... Their inaccessibility to learning actual important set of skills (self-defence, geography, literature, knowledge) is an entire part of the plot.
The omega are not only shelters, they are treated like dolls. Which is why it is so strong that two of the omega are learning self-denfense, and also emphasis their experience of powerlessness, which motivates their will to be stronger and better (At least, I hope it does) that is an entire part of the plot, which explains why the teachers are not teaching them self-defence.
They make us wait that long for one chapter and say that it was marked as completed. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
