That was pretty meh overall. A promising beginning, but everything after that was pretty shit (for lack of a better word). It dragged way too much in the middle and end, and overall it didn't really lead to much. ╮(￣~￣)╭
This manga (and the anime) was pretty bad overall, and yet I still cried like a bitch. gg, I guess?? ╮(￣~￣)╭

I'll be honest, the whole "Uke is pretty much kidnapped and raped by the Seme, but suddenly falls in love with them for no reason whatsoever" plot is kinda annoying and incredibly half-assed. I feel it is pretty overused, especially in yaois involving some sort of royalty.
It annoys me that the Ukes just immediately forget about any wrongdoings of the Semes. Why include extremely distressing things like rape in a story if the repercussions aren't going to be addressed? Why make the Semes do this if you still want them to seem like decent, likable human beings after the fact??
How hard is it to give the Ukes an actual reason for falling in love with the Semes that doesn't boil down to Stockholm Syndrome, or "just because", or "he looks so beautiful when he's sleep"??
It just pisses me off, because I really think these manga could've been soooo much better. (Also, I love the Arabian setting and I'd really like to see it used more often. The architecture is often really eye-catching, anyway......)
I'm really liking this manga. At the beginning, I was worried it was gonna go down the same edgy path as Arifureta, but I was pleasantly surprised! This somehow feels pretty fresh.
Also, who needs romance when you can have bromance. I reeeeally hope that message-san from the dungeon is still alive and kicking. He seems like a really chill dude. :>
nah what ruined Arifureta was that every person he consider friend is a girl and in his circle of friend every fucking one love to the point it make me poke like i forgive if you give him two or three girl but it was a really big mess not to mention every girl is okay with the fact that he f*** a loli and consider her his girlfriend (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
i might forgive the whole shit if they give him even a single guy to not be hostile to him but nooo every fucking guy want to **** the beautiful harem not caring about the demons nor the church or even their shitty life they gotta risk their life to feel a little better about their fucking d***
