First of all, this was a very good read. I'll give it that. The art style is pretty and the death games are entertaining enough to keep my attention. I was ready to wrap it up after chapter 35 but it got better when the second round started.
I'm very happy with the gay psycho variant in this manga. They usually get treated badly in death game manga but I'm happy that he got the recognition and love he deserved. He even got his kiss.
I am extremely surprised that this manga is very very fruity. Ever since the first game, MC was really slutty and the gay sex chapters were really good? Usually death game mangaka do whatever they want to girl characters and never even consider lgbtq+ representation but like, this manga had a surprising amount of romance between MC and the psycho gay character variant. I even expected them to fully have sex at one point and it kinda happened?
hell, even between the annoying girl character and the other girl character who only exists to get molested.
I'm pretty set on that the molestable girl was right, the gay route solves everything and to be honest, MC has WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY more chemistry with emo than any other girl he met so far.

The girl characters only exist to get molested, raped and stripped naked. As per usual with the death game genre. Some girl characters can't last more than half a chapter wearing clothes. The authors really don't realize that if you fill a manga with boobs every panel, even the horniest guy on earth will get tired of it.
Idk if it's the translations but some explanations were very bad. I cracked my skull open until I could finally managed to understand the clone situation.
WE NEED A FUCKING CHART TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING. The plot is so extremely overcomplicated that it's insane.
SPOILER TO THE WHOLE CLONE & SIBLING BUSSINESS -------
So basically, Ataru and Yuri are sisters. Their parents are scientists who have access to cloning technology. They clone Ataru and make his brother ''Yuma'' and clone Yuri to make ''Kanda''.
Then Ataru ''dies'' in accident planned by ReAca(?) and Yuma takes his place out of jelaousy. The parents clone the ''dead'' Ataru and place him in an orphanage where he'll be away from ReAca.
Our main character is the 2nd clone of Ataru, while the ''antagonist'' is the first clone.
Now to the stupid part, the antagonist keeps calling MC fake and an clone but like.. He's one too? and he did the thing he's blaming our MC of doing? he, ''yuuma'' took his brother Ataru's place when he died? why the high horse?
''apparently'' the clones are supposed to kill the original bodies and take their place but like.. The real Ataru is already ''dead?'' who's he supposed to kill? Yuma?
I'm guessing that the real real antagonist is the first real Ataru who was born out of a womb and he's the real Marble.

It's been ages since I commented this but I came up with a new theory. I think Yuuma is going trough his edgy ''kill the original'' phase right now because no matter how much you read, it's there. Yuuma is inferior just like a clone should be. Ataru is always at his A game and clears the games perfectly while Yuuma wins by luck.
The rating chapter was the prime example. Yuuma managed to win by dumb luck while losing a person while Ataru immediately came up with the idea to just look ugly to automatically win. Marble called Yuuma dumb for not being able to come up with the answer while Ataru easily did.
I'm guessing that the the real showdown will be between real Ataru vs. clone Ataru while weak soyboy Yuuma will watch from the sidelines.

This manga works on paper with the ''bringing the worst in humanity in desperate situations'' but the author couldn't even last a chapter before he turned the manga into his personal fetish porn.
It's very unapologetically sexist and fetishy. Women die and it's treated like a minor inconvenience while men die and everyone despair and cry. MC is in love with his best friend. The girlfriend is there for the mangaka to do whatever he wants with. He will literally put bullshit like ''this girl has to have sex with every single men!!! on public while wearing a bikini'' and makes it happen because again, it's fetish porn for the mangaka.
*Girl dies* MC: ''oh no, anyways''
*boy dies* MC: NOOO THE GUY WHO'S ONLY PERSONALITY WAS BOOBS... HOW COULD YOU DIE!! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING''
The love felt too forced at the start, probably because of the rape and the fast pacing along with having only 5 chapters. The ending ruined me
It's insane how small details and old chapters with no concrete plot can stack overtime to slowly unravel the mystery. Ever time a new chapter comes out, there's a small detail that solves an entire mystery with it.
I feel like the ML already knows and remembers everything but just hiding it to stay with MC a little longer.
There is honestly nothing happening? I don't like how MC bounces back and forth between two men who definitely aren't good for him. Why is leaving and getting another better man never an option in these manga? I still have no sympathy for the bio son tho.
Maybe I got spoiled by the quality of Dungeon reset and World's greatest engineer but this isn't for me.
The story stalls and slows so much that absolutely nothing happens for maybe 20 chapters at a time. I like a slowburn but I can't handle it if it isn't even getting hot yet.
Imma drop this one for now. There are some couple good jokes then and there but it's not enough to keep me invested for 170+ chapters. The progress slows down with every chapter and the charm goes down with it.

Yeah, I don't think this one is for you. This barely have any romance and if it has, it's his weakest aspect. This manhwa mostly focuses on it's main characters. Personally, I love this comic and it's one of my favorite ones in the "other world" type of stories because of its characters, world building and it's story. However, it's progression is really slow and I honestly can say that this gets really good when Barolt appears as a mentor around idk... 100-ish chapter.
please don't tell me there is romance in this. I was willing to give it another chance but if there's romance, I won't.
I kind of liked the manga but yeah, I'm more used to fast paced manga with constant plot progression like Greatest Engineer and Dungeon Reset.
Haha yep, there is. However at this point of the story is just a secondary character having a crush on another secondary character (both belonging to the main party) . And there are hints of one secondary character (who's really cool) kinda liking the protagonist but there isn't a lot of progress.
I also dislike romance in action based stories but if it's well developed I can like it xd
I tried to read greatest engineer but it was too fast for me. I like a more paused progression for the story like 'kill the dragon'.

I usually HATE romance in action stories as well, but Lloyd is such an interesting character that i'm actually curious how tf he'll fall in love because at this point it's more believeable if he ends up marrying his bank account.

The girl boss herself???? there is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO way they'll actually gonna get packaged together. They're both insanely good characters but I can't imagine the qween actually falling for that goofy goober and the goofy goober himself ever getting married.
I thought his character was more similar to Handa from Barakamon. They're both forever alone types who will never find a partner but still surrounded by people who love him.
I'm hoping with all my might that they'll execute it good enough to convince me but I'm already scared.
