the story is definitely very basic and bare bones when you first read. i honestly considered dropping it after a few chapters but i kept reading it and it did get better! it's definitely not perfect by all means, like the pacing is too fast for my taste and the chemistry between the fl and ml is definitely lacking but i still enjoyed myself surprisingly enough. i would've initially gave it 3 stars only but i gave it 4 for the fact that i actually enjoyed it despite its flaws.
