Hygiene and periods are not talked about much because they are seen as "private," "dirty," or "inappropriate." I think that girls just wash down there with water? But no one has answered me either so. Scented soaps can throw up the ph balance down there and can cause infection, so you shouldn’t use them. It self-cleans on the inside I think.?
