just binged the novel and omg is it worth the read...!!!! 100% recommend reading the danmei novel of this, and then afterwards just enjoy the beautiful art making the novel's scenes comes to life as the manhua is updating :D

if you want to support the manhua artist and author i hightly recommend you buy the chinese manhua books, and chapters as they're coming out. the physical manhua is available on a few websites if you just google "Xiao MoGu" or "little mushroom official manhua", and you get suuper cute bonus merch with the books.

what happened to people enjoying problematic content? what happened to letting people consume fictional things that are morally ambiguous or wrong but still despite that realizing it doesn't affect their principals in the real world?
reading this and enjoying the story/art won't make you a pedo, if you think that... then idk go outside? try working on your reading comprehension skills? see if you can find the source of why you have such black and white views on what you read/watch and consume?

then don't read them. find what you like and read that. ffs you have the choice here. im saying this sincerely. once you figure out that you dont NEED to read the popular stuff you'll be much happier. like half of the people in this comment section are here bc someone on tiktok or similar suggested this series, they came here and then got disgusted. its a dark story, it is supposed to be uncomfortable. even such stories have a place in our world.
also like read the warnings on a chapter and then DONT OPEN IT if it makes you uncomfortable

I definitely understand ur frustration, I’ve felt the same with certain dark stories that I like. I wish there was a way to like block a story so I don’t have to keep seeing it on the front page
people should stop complaining and whining about the tropes they hate and go read more of the tropes they love
