i think this story is basically about the cycle of abuse and how kids will most likely end up like their parents in some way or another. jihwan is like his father when it comes to expressing his affection and love (but i think its more of an infatuation/lust than anything) and he doesn't realize it yet. he might eventually?
i think the only way the cycle can break is if the abuser stops abusing, then repents for forgiveness, while also realizing the severity of his actions towards sooyoung. which is not easy given how jihwan grew up in such a toxic environment, it's the norm to him atp.. so he needs lots of therapy; OR if sooyoung escapes completely, which is even harder. he can move away, cut all ties.. but there's still gonna be the trauma he accumulated throughout his highschool years with jihwan. (plus his whole family situation, parents death, dept.. etc.) so he needs extra therapy....
EVERYBODY NEEDS THERAPY!??!?!?
i'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of this story unfolds. it's currently one of my favorites, so i really hope we don't get a disappointing ending :')
hm so. this went from a 10/10 to a 7/10 now...
like they could've communicated and got rid of the misunderstanding, then fucked their leftover frustration out their system. i think that would've made the angry sex more enjoyable to read.. imo at least :/
also the rich chaebol guy he was worried about outing.. i mean c'mon, him and ML have been friends for a decade (or more). he probably already knows. like he had to date a guy or two while they were both in college in america.
like i feel like everytime i read a new update i keep getting more and more confused.. and now the teacher shows up and suddenly he has "main character" status???????
but then again this sort of story with this many complex characters, where everything and everyone is intertwined with each other, will usually make anyone confused as hell, especially if you read it as it updates. but i feel like once its completed and you re-read it from chap 1, things will start making sense as you go and recall the main plot point.
also i have very veryyyy high hopes for this, and i reallyy wish that the ending isn't disappointing. like if the ending doesn't make me sob and cry and throw up either from joy or grief or anger or any other emotion, then i'll be disappointed.
TLDR; letting this marinate until completion, then re-reading. i want to have complete immersion into this story!!! (/TДT)/
remember guys good art comes from a healthy and strong body (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
