Because if there really is none then im a bit upset with the ending since yeah, im happy they ended up together but all the did was hug and i couldnt see more of their realationship as a couple

As someone who's just reread this for like the 6th time I'd recommend you read it. There are some disturbing elements in the story (death, domestic violence and rape ((the latter is not sexualised, like in some yaoi)), so if you're uncomfortable with stuff like that, maybe it won't be your cup of tea.
