Don't shoot me but Dion is...yum...
Also Maria is a little likeable. Putting aside her disgusting hobby, it's cute how she was so protective of Sierra in front of the monster.
in my opinion she didnt do it on purposse.. i think she is just hypocrit and wanted to swing a weakness on our girl ana, my though is that she want to eliminate the weak sierra.. why? because she is a sadist she dosnt care for anyone, in previews ch's she make her "doll" serve sierra when she knew she disliked it and was afraid, is part of the show/entertainment or w.e.. i do think they all are gorgeuss outside but crazy psicopaths
I agree with what the other person said about this feeling like a wattpad story, and I finally figured out why. The lack of action and murder makes the plot seem...superficial? There isn't really a sense of urgency in the story. You would think that a story about the throne for an empire would involve more conflict, betrayal, and scheming- but there isn't. In regards to the throne, even if Sienna doesn't become emperor, she still lives a comfortable life in the palace. It feels as if there aren't any consequences to her getting the throne or not.
Oh my god. I’m literally trembling in anger. Fuck that stupid head knight and cardinal.
Quoted from the Noveupdates forum for the novel:
“On the way to Jeremy's wedding, Shuli was attacked and killed by bandits. They weren't random bandits but knights (who cooperated) and mercenaries who disguised themselves as bandits. This was led by Captain Abington, who was also disguised as a bandit to assassinate Shuli. It is said that Shuli was regarded as dirty/dishonorable by the Neuvansteins, including the knights.
Shuli's dead body was in a horrific state. After searching the whole mountain, her body was found in a scum pit underneath a waterfall. Her body was cut up into many pieces and scattered all over. There were missing parts. The head was barely found. They had to gather the rotting pieces and put them together.”
It was a cute 4 hour read. The ending, however...isn't exactly my cup of tea. It's so frustrating when a story ends off with an unsatisfying timeskip. It's lazy writing. The most upsetting part about the ending was how Euthigen ended up. But, oh well. I still enjoyed the story and the ending for the main couple.
