I've known this spoiler for a while but only read (binge read) the story yesterday and dude all their interaction can be pass off as father/daughter or anything but romantic (ml/fl). I can't see them being together specially as myne is 7 years olf and and he is 23.

Well... shes on her 20's and more, more or less 27. About the biological aspect later she's going to age faster because they did some magical stuff to her lol

I have finished the novels. He is one of the best MLs ever. You will do yourself a dissatisfaction if you give up here. The story hasn’t even STARTED to touch on the massive development between them. They became one of my most favorite couples ever.

They're not romantically together (but they are together). But I say, nay to the haters. Ferdi really is one of the best MLs. The novel does a great job of building their growth and (platonic) relationship, and it makes sense in-universe. He was ranked 2nd on konorano hall of fame, and their ship is one of the most popular for legit reasons.
(I also cried buckets during many of his scenes).

I think if you finished the series and still don't like him, then there's nothing I can say,---but if you didn't and simply dropped it without understanding how it came to be, it's just your loss really.

They start to "like" each other in the end!
