I really like them both, they both have issues, nobody is perfect. I am so tired of the prince charming and the timid princess steretype... This is a nice change.
Probably the author was bombarded with hate or something so they decided to rush it...
I found the story a little strange but I am never ok with bullying anyone or being mean on general, it can really push people to limits most people don't consider.
Hope the author is doing ok and this is just a dumb theory of mine.
