Yuri is just very immature and has a lot to grow. Maturity comes at different times and different ways. He isn't necessarily "evil" but he is very self centered because of the lack this. Not all adults learn to develop empathy and become admirable mature figures to look up to so, "growing up" can be optional for some, while none negotiable for others, as it is perfectly expressed in this chapter.
Of course, we see the title of the series "form of sympathy" show for the poor guy when he was offered "a meeting with a girl" by his 10 year old crush who is about to get married...
Beautiful series, very slow paced but painfully realistic. Just my cup of tea.

I like the plot but the omegas lack of emotional intelligence irks me. He is smart, considerate and idealist but seams a little too naive which the typical trope omegas tend to have. I like everything, I just wish he wasn't naive...

They clearly both love each other, the omega is struggling to be 100% authentic with his feelings and actions because he doesnt know what to do about the whole situation but they both have great chemistry physically and emotionally, its just the brain playing games so...
