ppl be complaining about wanting fluff lol (i kinda agree too), but i rly like how the author conveys to the readers how gays r treated like shit in korean society and how a majority of koreans love gossip and it spreads around SO FAST (as a korean i confirm this LOL). like give some justice for everyone and sToP being nosy smh
i’m trying to read through this before i watch the anime but honestly, the story isn’t sticking with me like it did for most people. sure, there was something touching at the beginning and i like the characters and all, but there’s just so little on uenoyama and mafuyu that i get frustrated reading akihiko and haruki’s story. there’s just not enough closure on ueno/mafuyu while it seems like a lot of the chapters are on aki/haru. my mind just keeps on reminding me “i wish i knew more about mafuyu and what exactly happened with yuki” and knew more about uenoyama & mafuyu’s current relationship bc time kinda does move fast and there’s just not much about them even though they are the main characters.
i don’t hate it and i would like to read more to see what happens but i guess how the author executes the story isn’t just my cup of tea. i feel that the characters are a bit stale or inconsistent at times, but those are just my opinions. but the story feels very humane and realistic though and the artwork is very beautiful. perhaps watching the anime will change my mind on this as i heard it was much more emotional.
