Pretty good.
Aria is a villainess and not just a "villainess". She does evil stuff. She's still a great character.
I love seeing a character have success instead of constantly failing and aria always knew what she was doing.
I missed the romance between asher and aria, somehow it didn't do anything for me. Generally asher is... okay but nothing special.
Their relationship is wholesome and very communicative. I like that aria is more assertive than asher is.
What i disliked the most were the last chapters of the main story. It was just inneccessant dirt on mielle and this generally the story's weakest point. Mielle is an awful villain and she gets worse with time. She's not likeable, she has no real motivation and she isn't entertaining either. And having 13 chapters be solely about mielle and that being the end just... I didn't like it. It felt unnecessary, not like pay off. Imo you could've just cut that and literally nothing would have changed.
The epilogue was okay. It was entertaining and I like that everything turned out the way it did but I just don't like time travel of that kind in a story and it was a biiit too long

I hated in the beginning cause i hate winter but- but i love it sm now.
Firstly, Violet fights so hard. The beginning (and my that mean 40 chapters) was excruciating. The ups and downs, the pain. How winter failed again and again to respect her.
AND THEN SHE LEFT. and all the pain, all those excruciating chapters, they pay off. The pay off is PERFECT.
This is so mature and so wholesome. Violet is a fantastic character. Winter is difficult but for once i can understand and forgive him. He did despicable things but he suffered and he's trying to become better.
I also kinda like that their feelings are actually just starting to develop fr 100 ch in. Bc to me it very much seems like Violet loved winter bc she should and winter loved Violet cause she was nice. As in in a general, platonic sense. And only now it's getting romantic!!!
But i might have to reread
I hope she reconciles with her mother. Her regret seems to be genuine.
Winter remembers the horrible things he said and genuinely regrets them. Also him respecting her wishes???? I love it.
