I HATE THIS WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BODY

I'll just copy-paste my review hahaha. So this is long, beware.
This shit is so cringe. It was cute in the beginning but the more it goes on the more i dislike every character and their weird ass relationships.
I'm developing an intense hatred for this webcomic. I can't even hate-read it.
This is based on a Thai drama and you can totally feel it. It doesn't translate well at all. Thai drama can be excessive but being a visual medium it works better and the jokes are not as boring. This just took every problem of Thai drama and made it WORSE.
I hate soohyuk. He is boring. He steps over taein's boundaries multiple times and ist nothing but an overboarding dude who's obsessed with Taein. He has no personality.
Taein on the other hand has a personality, which is being an annoying brat. He doesn't know what he wants even 60 chapters in. He hates soohyuk, then he wants to be friends with him, then he hates him again. He hates how popular soohyuk but also likes soohyuk SOMETIMES. Like, it doesn't feel like it because he always pushes him away but whatever. Then once their relationship starts sailing (like four or five times) he instantly thinks about Mirae. They have had a relationship talk so many times and Taein would agree to trying things out and suddenly he's in love with Mirae again????? It feels like cheating, even though Soohyuk is pushing the relationship Taein kinda agrees.
Like their relationship just SUCKS. It's so one sided and Taein has no idea what he wants. His friends question him about his feelings for soohyuk and he flat out denies it (and it's not cause of homophobia or any other kind of fear) and says he prefers cute girls??? And then a friend suggests getting rid of Soohyuk and Taein agrees??? I'm floored. There have been multiple times where I'm just looking at my screen completely speechless because of how often Taein will repeat the same shit again and again.
Then he has his random fits of jealousy??? He'll scream all day because of how much Soohyuks advances annoy him but he sees Soohyuk merely talk to a girl and it depresses him so much HE HAS TO LEAVE THE CAFÉ AND HIDES AT HOME. And he cries about how soohyuk doesn't love him but her JUST BECAUSE HE FLICKED HER HEAD ONCE. He has no idea who she is. He has seen her interact with soohyuk once. And soohyuk has done nothing but aggressively profess his love for taein. I hate those chapters. It doesn't stop after that. When taein and Soohyuk meet a friend pats Taein's head and Soohyuk gets so jealous HE PULLS TAEIN TO THE BATHROOM TO SCREAM AT HIM WHY HE LET THAT GUY TOUCH HIM. Remember: at this point they've both kind of confessed their feelings for each other like 5 times but they are not in a relationship.
Then there's this completely unnecessary love rival. He's nothing but an useless villain. I don't feel anything towards him. I hate him.
The art is fine but I hate their shitass expressions. Everything is so over exaggerated and mild jealousy looks like blood rage. Cute moments are nothing but cringe.
The whole social media thing also is just so??? I'm tired. It's boring to read and they are so cringe. Also like, do they not know private messages are a thing? They communicate exclusively through comments on posts and spill the most private information ever on there. Ans how taein found out that soohyuk asked that guy to take the picture of his form down IN THE COMMENTS is so weird. Like he could've found out on his own phone?
And the importance "imstar" has in this webcomic, yaaawn. I could die. There are way too many scenes about them posting on imstar and commenting under each posts.
And you're telling me soohyuk got their imstar id's engraved on a ring????? Brooo
It's just so voyeuristic. Why are they on Taein's back about them sleeping with each other??? It's none of your business. It goes on and on. One friend sees them buy condoms, another explains soohyuk how to do it and another helps soohyuk when taein gets sick the morning after they did it. They know every single move and I wouldn't be surprised if they did a porno for the friends ro see.
Andddd even in their relationship soohyuk molests taein. The whole sex talk is so bad
And the brother plotline. GO AWAY.
Also, soohyuk stop calling Taein your wife. The sex sucked. First i was happy cause they talked about research but then obviously taein bottomed, like??? When has he ever expressed he wants that?? When havr they talked about it?? And then the next morning taein is hurting and has a literal fever cause they went so hard. And before that there's a part where soohyuk contemplates whether he wants taein to "cry out in pleasure" or not hurt during the sex??? And he's undecided ?? Like bro what is there to contemplate???

Sir herbaron (and the other knights too) are actually explaining to Maxi why she shouldn't come with them. They are being reasonable and whether she should come with them or not THEY ARE COMMUNICATING with her, unlike another person in the room.
This is what Riftan should have done instead of screaming at her and then leaving the room. He acts worse than a toddler

I'm not gonna write some essay here cause I'm already too tired of this.
Y'all don't get the real issue. It's not wrong for Riftan to want her to stay at the castle since she's not a trained warrior nor really trained magician (which is his fault). It is dangerous for her to accompany to him the battlefield, he's correct.
However, he has no right to talk to her like that. He doesn't listen to her and she has absolutely no say in this to him. He's not even properly explaining her why he wants her to stay. Nor is he talking *to* her. He is talking down on her and he has done this since their relationship started. He is treating her like an object, a trophy he has won.
I am sure he truly cares about Maxi in his own way, but not about her as a person. If he would, he would include her in the decisions that are to be made. He would stop seeing her as a dress up sex doll.
And this has NOTHING to do with his past and trauma. It explains why he's so insecure but it does not prevent him from seeing Maxi as a person. He glorifies her and puts her on a pedestal. How can he even say he loves her when he barely knows her? And I'm not talking about him not knowing of her not actually being a pampered woman. He just doesn't see HER. Riftan has a vision of her and that's all he sees while she's nothing like that.
And that's why it's not okay how he's handling this war situation. The reason he doesn't want to her to go with him is wanting to protect her but he doesn't want this for her but for himself. It's all about how riftan feels and what he wants. You don't love a person if you disregard their feelings and thoughts.

You are not wrong. But the vision Riftan has of her has been a misunderstanding since the beginning. He thinks she lived her best life in Croyso Castle, from the start he thinks he's not good enough for her and doesn't believe she's happier with him than she was with her father. He tries to treat her as the noblewoman she is and compensate her for having to get married to him (a lowly knight). He doesn't see a noblewoman working or going on raids so he doesn't understand why Maxi is acting the way she is (she should be spoiled). In the end, he does everything with good intentions. If maybe Maxi actually corrected the misunderstanding and talked about her life and her feelings, maybe things could be different.

Like I said, his behavior towards her has nothing to do with that.
Also, regarding his vision of her.... that's exactly what I was trying to point out.
I understand why he had this vision of her initially, but now he's had plenty of time to get to know her. He THINKS she's a spoiled noblewoman but she TELLS him she wants to do things like heal the soldiers and train in magic. And that's the moment when it becomes clear how he doesn't know her and sees her as an object. Because his ASSUMPTION about her should be corrected.
"She may be a spoiled noblewoman but she WANTS to do this and that" is what he should be thinking. But he doesn't. Because all he sees is the image of her he's crafted in his head. Despite her telling and showing him that she wants something else. It shouldn't matter that he doesn't know her past when she tells him she wants something.
And if compensating her means yelling at her and forcing her to do things she doesn't want to then wow, I'd rather be punished.

So I finally finished this after a loooong time.
Personally I don't get the hype and never did. S1 and 2 were okay, fluffy and all. I just didn't like the characters very much and their dynamic even less. But I've read worse. Like at least it was wholesome.
Then came the smut.... which was boring and bad. Haebom becoming gradually more childish and ugh. And it's just soooo much smut and they go at it like the rabbits. Nothing to say, didn't like it
This went from 3 to 2 stars, possibly even lower. The last chapters were just incredibly boring and the whole storyline of the evil coworker in season 4 was so lackluster and boring. Villains don't always have to be compelling/well written but he was just evil for evils sake. It was extremely unnecessary. Generally all the smut just got more and more bland and I didn't like it before already. Why does haebom look like a child half of the time?????
Also the first half of the epilogue was kind of boring????
Now to my real complaint, fhew.
WHAT THE HELL WAS CH137?!?!?!
Like I said, the guy was such an unnecessarily evil guy and so boring. It felt like the author was writing self gratification by punishing the character who was disturbing the MCs. That one line from his "bf" gave it all away. And then!!!! He kidnaps and rapes him!??!?! Why the actual fuck did the author think it was OKAY or even GOOD to show visual rape in a fluffy webcomic. I'm beyond disturbed. And then????? That's it? No one mentions it. Like what the hell. I was struggling so hard the last chapters.
And the cherry on top was the last chapter. I was already wondering why the hell the author would include half SA in the fucking last chapter but then dude even registers what he's doing and it just is never really addressed? I mean couldn't you just have not made him do that?????
Like the only thing I liked about this were Jia and taesungs mom

EXACTLY, I JUST CURRENTLY REREAD THIS AND I'M QUESTIONING WHY I RATED IT HIGH IN THE FIRST PLACE The smut became too much at some point and also, I don't remember Haebom acting like that but upon reading it again, i was like omfg?? Ur right about the red hair guy too, like he was just unnecessary evil and the blatant SA near the end (and at some chapters too) if were being honest, this would've been good if it ended in season 2 but the author dragged it on for much longer that it lost its sense of plot or whatevs
Uploader, idk how you're simping over the dad, he looks like a catholic priest
HELP BASHHWHWHAHHASJSJAJAJAJHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
