The last dozen chapters have been so weird and annoying. Everyone loves lippe, lippe is the best and kindest person ever and forgives Haillena. Such a weird idea to introduce a new character so fucking late - and then she dies. It feels like she was only there because the author wanted someone to die but didn't want to sacrifice anyone of the main cast. Weird ass shit.
Also the expressions are getting on my nerves so badly, everyone looks the same when they have specific face expressions. I'm esp talking about that face where they bite their lip. Or when the veins pop. It looks ridiculous and then EVERYONE does it. It makes them look indistinguishable.
I really liked the beginning and I liked when lippe and rias got together but the middle part (idol singing era) and this are so weird. Everything is so rushed and anticlimactic and boring. Like the final showdown with emperor was so??? Bland??? And then he randomly reappears and vanishes again. But actually it's not over yet, there's another evil guy so another boring fight ensues and the cherry on top is the characters dropping dead and then getting up again until the sacrificial lamb haillena actually dies.
Does anyone here know a story where two people who hate each other starting dating in secret and don't tell a third person they both know and are friends with and some point the person finds out?
E.g. in a trio two hate each other but are friends with the third
Can be friends, enemies, any genre. As long as there's the third person involved who's lowkey betrayed (i want the pain).
Book, movie, show, manga, idc. PLEASE.
It's ridiculous that we are supposed to be sad for lippe and all this "a loved one dying is so hard" when we barely knew haillena and she was nothing more than a sacrificial pig or something.
Also lippe gets over it in the same chapter and there's 5 other things happening at the same time so there is no chance of any emotional impact.
Why tf do we need this random butler man having a crush now??
Why is everything so ridiculous, like someone said this turned into a telenovela and I couldn't agree more
