Yes the author could've handled it more professionally but her anger is definitely justified because copyright has been violated and majority of mangaka lose motivation when they see their work uploaded illegally.
The translator is also playing the victim card heavily when they really are the perpetrator here. The 'personal information' that you say the author leaked is just your freaking instagram page that you already post everywhere and everyone knows already.
The author also clearly has mental issues that's making her act 'psychotic' as you people say. She needs actual professional help. She also left twitter because of it. You all say you're for mental health but pinning all the blame on the author and calling her names. Have a little empathy for Christ's sake!
she completely knew what she was doing. Using suicide to manipulate people because we all know she wouldn't do it, she just wanted a reaction. Doxxing in any fashion is wrong. She and her fans attacked a reader who bought all chapters legally and they provided proof of that but they called them a liar and harassed the person relentlessly. Putting a bounty on someone's information is dangerous and this isn't her first time doing it. She doesn't go after the people in Korea who are illegally posting blind play she only goes after international people and says if it's not in your language you're sol and don't need to read it. There is nothing to justify with her, there are plenty of other authors who enjoy the extra attention they get from sites like this. I wouldn't know half the ones I know if I wasn't on this site and in fact plan on buying physical books when they come out of some of my favorites because I found them and love them. I refuse to support someone who decides the best course of action is to act like this, she deserves absolutely nothing. I genuinely feel bad for the artist but not her.

Because the author doxxed & put bounty on the person, translator's photo & private information was leaked in internet by one of her readers. She herself only exposed the instagram but her actions & that stupid bounty caused the translator's photo to come out. So yeah, even if she directly didn't exposed the information, her action certainly casued it.
Combined with all the racist things she said & now trying to take a victim card, I certainly don;t feel any empathy for her. She just threatened someone's safety & she wants to gain sympathy. Like seriously, go get help. She deserves all the hate after all the things she did

The author definitely has a right to sue because of copyright not to mention that they lose a lot of money they could've made through lezh!n but doxxing is definitely a big problem and she could have handled it better. I also don't think she knows how mangago works.

The comment section is always so toxic when the mangas are somewhat problematic. I think people should read the tags carefully before starting a manga so they won't complain later on. Especially if you have a problem with rape or even dubcon then READ THE FRICKING TAGS OR JUST DROP IT AND MOVE ON it's that simple

If a manhwa contains rape people will talk about rape, if the characters are problematic, a negative reaction towards what they do is expected. That doesn't mean that they are complaining or being toxic. You can't expect the comment section to be all cute when the manhwa is this dark.
