It's not lazy writing, that's the whole point of this manga, it's quite well written if you see the minute details, crazy girlfriend and her more crazy friends, his worlplace, his colleagues, he's the one getting blamed, demotion everything in kasuyas life.
The bullying, the r*pe, the r*pe that you talked about were only used in forms of bullying, showing love??, asserting dominance from kuze and it was done with context(I do agree it can be painful to read for some), the sad environment and all sorts of other things in kazuyas life.

Authors wrote everything imo in a very mocking way, its nicely written and properly conveyed, their life is so pathetic tbh and despite that they're enjoying their shitty life with happiness.
I really like how balanced this story is with both serious and funny tones.

Well if you havent, other manga from harada have also happy ending, yatamomo, yoru to asa no uta, suki na hito hodo, are all about the only good series they all have rape but the couple ended up happy, hsl is just leaning more toward comedy since its abaurd with that god power and all

Difference of opinion. Rape is rape. Never justified in any situation. And rape is showing love? You serious? That’s disgusting. Tell that to rape victims oh but they loved you so it’s okay. Rape is never okay and it is lazy writing. It’s obvious her kink and it’s whatever. But like I said it would be a masterpiece without the rape so I recognize the good writing except when it comes to rape. There is a million different intricate ways to show love and bullying that doesn’t involve rape. It cheapens the story.
When I wrote my sentence, there was a question mark after that, "showing love??", what I meant was, its what that character kuze thinks, it's his way to "love" kazuya, that love in itself is questionable for everyone but for kuze its not, these aren't my thoughts, it's that character's thoughts infact for him it isn't even r*pe, he didnt even realize he was r*ping kazuya until later chapters. I told you the instances when he r*ped him, 1)when he bullied 2)when he thought he was loving him 3)to assert dominance thats all what I said.
