I watched the anime again and came across the prophecy about the reincarnation of King Hiryuu.... I can't help but think that the "sword and shield" that was mentioned in the prophecy is about Hak and Soo Won. I'm just not sure who is which though.
Probably, Hak being the shield and Soo Won as the sword?? Although, that's just me.

The prophecy is about Hiryuu and the dragons. And now Zeno is the shield so who among the three remaining dragons is the sword is the question. :)
That's what I thought so too at first but in my opinion, the way the prophecy was said, it seems like the shield and sword have nothing to do with the 4 dragons. And remember how Soo Won and Hak worked together to save Lily when she was about to be hanged? Yona even said that they could've accomplished more if they are together... Could it be a foreshadowing of what is come??? The word "sword" and "shield" are both good on their own but if they are used together, they can do so much more. Although again, that's just my theory.

I think the whole "sword and shield" prophecy is about Hak and Soo Won, too. But in my opinion, Hak is the shield and Soo Woo is the sword.
Most of ppl think Hak is the sword but through the series, what Hak does mostly is protecting Yona, while Soo Won is, well, making their country strong again. Maybe he took the throne to make it powerful again then give it back to Yona.
Agreed, but I think specifically Soo Won would be the sword because he's not afraid to cut down his enemies and take action
It’s been a while since I watched the anime but I’m pretty sure there was a scene (like a flashforward) in which Zeno was holding a sword and a shield made of wood.
Howevee I can see a paralel like that being done in the future of the manga, about Hak being the Shield and Soo Won the Sword. Maybe when the time comes and they work together with Yona the real sword and shield Zeno was holding will appear. Who knows.. we’ll have to wait and see ╮(￣▽￣)╭
