There’s something about how subtle and suffocating this is that makes it such a good and captivating read. Like they’re both so not dramatic and calm but the subtext and the way they speak is oozing with tension. The chemistry is off the charts! I did not expect to like this as much as I did. And I loveeeee Damon. If I were Colton, I would have folded too. He is such a beautifully constructed character. 10/10
