No, you won't go to jail for self-defense in which own life is at risk (such as r*pe and ab*se), at least in most countries in the world that is.
Definitely not here in ours, just a few months ago we had a lawyer visit our school and we had a few questions to ask one of those is “what if you were to kill for self defense” and thats the answer she gave us. You can list the killing as self defense but you still go to jail for killing.

Imagine having trauma not only from being assaulted but also from just forced to/accidentally killed someone. Yet, instead of being protected and given a therapy for their trauma, they were thrown in jail for murder instead. That's sad :(
Yes, that is how the law works. Take the Menendez brothers for example, they were twins abused by their parents they couldnt take it so they killed them, they are currently serving life in prison.
