I have read the incident the disaster was based upon. Man, greed is frightening. Also reminds you of oceangate and Boeing incidents.
I was so pissed after reading about the one who was responsible for all this but, it did teach me a lesson.
I recommend you read the article on wikipedia, the head of that store's company is made an example out of.

Okay so, I don't know what the hell happened. This manhwa had a different cover, with the title "The Haunted Mansion". Sounds simple and straightforward, right?
The title also had translations, mind you title translations, not the manhwa itself, in different languages. I can't remember all of them but the languages were Arabic, French/Spanish, Korean and Hindi.
Came to observe this after the comments kept mentioning there was a title in Hindi.
The cover was a panel from the manhwa which had better colouring and captures the horror vibe imo and the current cover is too orange for my liking. Now the alternate title looks bare without the other languages. Clicking on the old cover and manhwa link redirects to this one here.
Who did this and why? It kind of ruined my interest and now I have to wait a few chapters to recover and continue reading. PS: I'm PMSing and taking out my PMS symptoms on this very trivial thing, please overlook this and don't let this ruin your day.

She is right now an exchange student of sorts from a highly reputed kingdom. Helps women who are in a tough predicament with their engagements.
She mentions to her friend how she was in a similar position of having a cheating fiancee. My guess is, something very very sinister happened to MC which involves her ex fiancee, she left her country, and is currently gaining allies, power and reputation in the country she's studying at to get revenge and establish herself as a powerful contender for the throne.
Read the title. Don't read up those incidents. I went down the rabbit hole of tragedies and now I don't feel okay. Perhaps this is what they call doom-scrolling.
