Its clear that author is a pdfphile. The mcxml, purplegirl and og fl, and the og ml x his teacher. Like the mc and ml is bearable since they both time travel but the others are soo icky. The guy is 27 blushing over a 17 yo. And dont get me started on og ml and his teacher. That woman groomed him. Taking his clothes off, telling him to visit at night and what not. It would be fine if the teacher only thought of him as student and it was only one sided but the teacher is now mad that he didn’t actually like her?? Hello what was she expecting? The teacher being a full grown adult who raised him from the age of 12 or younger now wants to get with him when hes 17???! What is this? I loved the manhwa. It really evoked a lot of emotions in me. The ending made me feel empty.
The ml was ok. Besides his face there was not really extraordinary abt him.
The fl was good. Although her method of becoming “bad” worked. I think the story played it down and just slapped comedy on it. Because there were a lot of parts that just didn’t make sense. But what can we expect from a story in a historical setting. I guess they wanted to show sibling love also with banter but it just left a lil of a bitter taste in my mouth.
I also think both anita and the imperial family have faults. So their punishments seem to fit. But I can’t lie that there was a part of me that wanted to see pure bloodthirsty revenge driven by rage. It could’ve been anita or the fl. I didn’t care cus I support both of them.
Also that fl’s previous fiancee guy pisses me off. Yes I cam understand the sentiment that he wanted to show love and affection to someone who was hurting cus as readers we’ve also felt that abt characters. But his way of doing so is just shit. What made him think that a woman who had gone through so much because of romantic love wanted his love?? The audacity. What made anita like that was because she felt that she betrayed her family, she didn’t recieve any sort of apology, and the fact that she had dug herself unto a hole of sins that she thought could not be redeemed.
And even though he tried to give her love it should one that reassures, is gentle and healing. But he knows that he cannot provide that in their situation. Yeah that man is a psycho. I personally love yanderes but this was not it. I even suspect the reason he wanted to give her love was cus he has a saviour complex. Thinking hes someone who can “fix” someone broken while not even understanding the cause for it. Its giving “i can fix her” lmao. Clinging onto my anita like that even after everything. Damn it bitch let go. My queen anita doesn’t need someone like you. She should try with women for eg me.
I feel like this was partly written because of your personal bias, but I support lol. Women in this story deserve better.
I also think its weird that gay characters turn supposedly gay after fl but idk why ppl want the previous gay relationship. No matter how you see, it was clear that micheal was suffering. It was just toxic. The ml being abused grasped onto any kind of affection and kindness. And micheal just endered a lot of suffering.
Yea and in the very earlier episode, they two guys were shown in bed with edwin on top. So edwin probably sa'ed michael too. I'm glad Michael didnot end up with ml. But instead with that another white haired guy (who's his assistant or guard or something)
If you’re debating on whether to read it or not. Read it you will not regret. There is a bit of possessiveness there so some might not like it for me its more reason to read it. Love me some yanderes.
The fl and ml both are written well. The plot is also good. The way it explores its themes of healing is also done well. In the early chaps the translations may be a bit confusing but it gets better.
So far everything seems boring and bland. Theres no factor in it that makes me want to read more. No couple is intriguing.
