Momoya clearly hates his dad and we know he lives with his Mom only. I always wonder what his family circumstances were that makes him hate his dad so much even though said dad gifts presents for his son semi-regularly, while living with a single mother.
At first, I was thinking that maybe they were divorced, however, Momoya's and his mothers actions don't both add up if divorce is the answer.
1)Momoya's mom meets the father for dinner occasionally and Dad tries sending Momoya gifts for big occasions (like getting into High school). If the divorce had been bad, i doubt the mom would be seeing him so easily but it would make sense why Momoya hates him
2) On the otherhand, the mom meets the father rather calmly so it can't have been a messy divorce. Yet if it was a amiable divorce, why is the cool, calm Momoya so upset?
Him being an illegitimate child explains sooooooo much. A married man brings forth a child through a mistress which accounts for the issues mentioned above. Because Momo-mom couldn't marry him anyways, the mom is single but still in some contact with the dad (maybe its for child support, idk). But by taking a mistress, maybe Momoya feels his dad deprived Momoya of a father figure, left his mom a single mother, and frankly his affair just don't look good on him. Since he was raised by him mom Momoya is obvi ongoing to unilaterally lay the blame on the dad and not his kind-hearted (if not foolish) mother.
I was not expecting this manga to be so wholesome. I thought Saegusa with his, "i'm bored with everything" and minimum effort personality would be some stereotypical BL seme who manipulates the social awkward transfer student to curb his boredom but eventually falls in love. When he was about to use Arochi's interest in space and his past like for it and was waiting for him the classroom, I hadn't expected to him to simply fall for how cute Arochi is
ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Now every chapter is me waiting to see how cute pining Saegusa is, but it's also sad how he forces himself to keep these feelings hidden because he doesn't want to lose Arochi's friendship. Saegusa is so pure!!!!!!!!!!
...and listening to them just that one time i happened upon this catch. I skipped over this manga so many times before because someone once had the gall to say "I wished Mitsuhiko hadn't let that guy have sex with him" or some other shit like that. They said that the uke (Sousuke) coming to rescue him and making him seem strong even though he's a crybaby was nice, but they didn't like that scene. They said it in a way that made it sound like Mitsu is so stupid/airheaded he accidentally had sex with another person. This turned me off from the story so i never read it until today where newer more positive and sensitive comments made me read it (i had forgotten which manga that comment had been about since it was a year or 2 ago i last saw it). Maybe i misread the comment and the OP just used poor word choice to describe Mitsu's plight in that scene, but wow. I have learned anew that with comments (while i should keep them in mind) i should not use them as my last criteria for a manga, especially when only one shares an opinion.
Bruh, what happened to him was not like that. Mitsu is just desensitized to rape because of his line of work and being in it from very young with no one really ever being on his side. His co-worker even calls him a "meat toilet slut" (the bastard even dares to say he'd take a turn on mitsu's ass if he could). He was forced into sex, but he chose to not fight back because he wanted the situation to end faster (at first), but after remembering Sosuke's worries and fears, he decided that he didn't want to do that after all. They may be a very weird (in a funny way) couple, but i find their concern for each other very cute and admirable. I'm glad i read this story
Yes! I agree! I know yaoi mangas often include rape but here it was actually relevant and served a purpose. It wasn't featured in the typically yaoi trope way. I feel the same way as you did with this manga initially sometimes with other mangas. Because I also don't want to read a story where it's noncensual or absurd.
that one of the grudge holding accusers is contemplating whether seungmin is bad or not (he obviously isn't to us readers who know he is innocent), but to try and gleam that even though you think he committed a crime is quite a step in the right direction.
And now that I've said that, that boy is probably gonna regress and start starting shit again with the other lady
they mashed the magazine chapters and tankobun version together when whoever uploaded it here but didn't account for the page-to-chapter difference that occurs when books are converted to tankobun (they add more pages to chapters, which in essence lengthens chapter page counts while shortening chapter amounts). This skips sections in the middle from about chapter 3 pt2 of tankobun
Nanachi and I share the same birthday 4/12!
