Was the author waiting for chapter 69 to show show even the slightest bit of development in joo's character? Lol. It's an overused troupe but whatever man ... Atleast smth happened. Fucking finally! Though I hope it immediately doesn't go back to square one and crushes all my hopes. Goshh this is way too frustrating. It's like everyone chapter we take 1/2 step forward and go 12 steps backwards. Like the story isn't going anywhere and the development is almost non existent. Sometimes it feels like yea his character is progressing a little bit but then he just does something to fuck it all up and we're back at square one...

We thought it was gonna be jaekyung suffering arc but actually it has been beneficial for him. Uou can see jaekyung's physical and mental condition has improved a lot. Character development... Maybe not so much but he's definitely softer than before (still an ass though). The only one who's suffering at the end of the day is Dan. It's so frustrating to see because dan is the only one who ends up miserable in every situation

So basically bj alex but 100x more toxic. I'm guessing in the next chapter dan is gonna be all cold and distant while having sex and not gonna let joo kiss him or smth... This is just making me sad. I come to read every chapter with the tiniest bit of hope that there'll 0.0001% development in joo's character

Idk if the author is doing this on purpose but It's almost sad to see how even after 10 years it feels like ue and mafuyu are still not completely happy... It is especially noticeable in contrast with the two side couples (akihiko+ haruki and shizu + higarii) and it makes the main couple look kinda miserable. Like They still cannot communicate properly while the others are in visibly healthy relationship. Idk why but it feels like everyone got their happy ending while mafuyu and ritsu r still stuck in the bittersweet stage.
