Seriously. It’s kind of fucking ridiculous. If weighing ‘people will find out I’m a con artist’ vs ‘people will find out I’m an accomplice to murder...PLUS another person’s life might be on the line’ CHOOSE THE FORMER! Why is this not obvious????? I don’t understand how this plot hole was not better addressed. it makes it way less believable and in a way I don’t feel bad for the MC/‘blind’ guy while I do feel terrible and SO angry for the innocent guy that’s tied up and had no idea this would happen to him. And he’s talking about goodbyes to his mother?
Also, why are you going back? Evidence....well if you want me to believe that and that you’re acting as a vigilante then why not bring a weapon as well? Where is this supposed to be based? Get a gun? (I don’t support guns but like you’re going to a known murderer’s house to catch him attempting murder so....) or at least bring a taser, a knife, poison, SOMETHING. Have someone ACTIVELY watching the recording, call the police IMMEDIATELY when the guy leaves the room. Like just so many missteps here.
