yes and it is misogyny. The fact just because she's clingy is your main point of why you hate her then you have to look inwardly towards yourself. Expecting a female character to have supposed masculine traits and call it a good female character is not a good character. That's a Mary Sue and it does feeds off to misogyny because it seems like women needs to have "masculine traits" to be respected and liked. It's like women aren't allowed to be vulnerable, naive, docile and emotional because that's drilled in your head that it's not very "girl empowerment." So yes, it is internal misogyny, I didn't take gender studies for no reason.

also to add, MC is literally a killer and obviously have enough bloodlust to kill again. He's not even a well rounded character as well but the meat riding that y'all are doing is crazy and then complain about the fl just basing off 20 chapters with her literally doing nothing despicable but just existing. That's a weird behavior especially if it came from you, a woman. And I bet my ass you're not even pass 20 yet. You're gonna learn more about it as you grow older that it is a problem

That's a lot of assumption you have about someone, it's crazy lol. Simply weird. The problem is not necessarily her being clinging, the problem is her unnecessarily interfering, thats what her character is all about and nothing else, theres no substance in it, simply bland, her character is made in a way to cause problems where MC comes and solves it later on, this is repetitive in stories.

Also throw away your gender studies because it isn't being useful from what I see, with your one-sided thinking it's a waste.

Nobody wants her to be manly, that's again your own assumption, there's a difference between being "naive, docile, vulnerable" and just pathetic. You can be docile and strong at the same time, a women doesn't need to have "manly traits" to be considered good lol, you clearly haven't read good female characters.

It's far from misogyny, it's what we call difference in preference ppl have also I saw inside of me, its all good lol!! Most of us are tired of watching a female character being made like this again and again in all stories who's only job is to scream and get hurt. This irritation that you see in the comment section comes from there.

MC's character is at least interesting, him being a killer is whole premises of this story which makes it worth the time, if someone wanna do the d*ckriding so be it lol, why is your ass on fire and Yes! It would have been better if her character didn't existed at all.
Nothing weird in wanting to see a good female character without being damsel in distress whether someone is man or a woman. Take your bet and shove it in your ass. Nobody else but you need to do a lot of growing up.

what makes a strong female character is that they are written as just a character. A device in a work to help tell a story, just like any other character being used. Wheter you think she's 'interfering or not,, she's just not doing it for no reason. Try to understand her personaility, her situation, her actions.

idk what story you guys are reading to hate her so much,, but from the first time we saw her, she seemed like a reasonable person imo. the main character was introduced as a suspicious person to her,, she was wary of him and began questioning him,, which is reasonable. and it's kind of funny cause the main character is a serial killer, so she had every right to be wary lol.

The second time we saw her, she came to question the main character after his interaction with the village head. At this point, she's still wary of him and doesnt belive he should live there. But she cant really do anything about it, since the village head basically allowed him to stay there by leaving him alone,, and she isnt an irrational person to go against the head's wishes or whatever,, -this is futher proven in future chapters during the meeting where she recommened calling the police then immediately backed down after seeing the scary stares of the villagers. She clearly knows more than a thing or 2 about the village, and is ofcourse scared to disobey whatever rules it has-. Anyways, carrying on to the point before the enhypen (-), despite being wary of the main character and clearly being put off in some way by his snarky attitude, she still decieded to help him out by giving him pillows and blankets. She put aside her own judgements of him, as she most likely rationalized that being wary of him without proof would do no good,, and she went out of her way to help him instead. From the first 2 times we see her alone, we see that she's rational and kind. Not only that, but she brought the pillows as an apology for suspecting him of not being the grandson or whatever,, emphatizing with his situation, saying how she wouldnt feel good if someome doubted her parentage aswell. She also put a tailsman in the pillow to help ward of evil spirts. like omg she's just so sweet!

that girl is the only pure and good character in this series so far, just from what we know from chapeter 1 to 35,, yet yall over her getting this annoyed at her??

She's strong. Rational, emphatic, kind, those are all stromg traits.

She's necessary to the story, without her that uncle guy would be alive, which would have made the plot point about the aunty who's itching herself be non-exsistant, the one that's unfolding right now.
her character also tells us that we should be wary of the village, the way she insists on being careful of evil spirts and how she dares not stand against the viallge.

So far, she's a good character, maybe not perfect but the other characters in the story arent all that perfect either. So again, please tell me how she unnecessarily interfers with everything

I don't give a f**k about whether you like her in this story or not but just because someone doesn't like her doesn't make them "misogynistic" or doesn't mean they have "internal misogyny" or they hate females altogether. Stop forcing ppl to accept her just because you think she is a nice charater, stop painting your ideals on people about what they think and like based on your own thoughts and beliefs. Stop assuming!!

There are thousands of female characters who are "feminine" yet beautifully written even as side characters even if they're imperfect, just because someone doesn't like her character in this story *doesn't mean* they hate all feminine characters or that they favor so called "masculine femininity", there are likes and dislikes of each and every person which varies even in same characterization, genera, sub-genera etc, for some ppl a character can be a god but for other ppl same character can be a villian.

If you're annoyed by how ppl are hating this particular character in this comment section, that's your problem not somebody elses. I said my issue with this character, for others their reason might be different, who knows.
After this, say or think whatever you want, I couldn't careless about it, I don't like her character which will stay same until she does something worth changing my mind. You all like her, good for you.

this is funny to me cause in actuality NONE of the characters in this story are truly well written, yet the only characters everyone wants to critize was the girl. Reasons ive saw from most people is that she's clingly, annoying, and unnessecarly interfers with everything (which i still need proof for). Im not disagreeing with you when you say that her character isnt beautifully written, but look at around you, is any other character beautifully written? Why not give the same engery for the others, why only dislike her so strongly?

Ofcourse i understand that everyone wont like the same character, and that we all have the right to be annoyed by certain things,,, you dont have to spoon feed that logic to me. What i was trying to do is show you is that her character wasnt as badly written as you guys try to make it seem. Idk, it's just weird that you guys critize her more than the village cheif, or that creppy guy who always forcefully tries to get with her. Even the main character, no one wants to discuss his character, how interesting he seems, how he's a serial killer but doesnt actually go off on killing sprees, but maybe just kills people who he thinks are criminals? like the parents were said to be doing shady things, and the uncle guy did try to kill the girl_ it was shown that he wanted to be an officer when younger so maybe he's like this justice warrior if im going to give him a watered down description--- idk im straying but cant you see what im talking about? theres alot of things to discuss about this story but the only thing you guys want to do in every chapter is criticize that girl for being annoying. It's getting iffy, the way you guys go out of your way to condemn her as if every other character is perfection

To be honest, i go into these stories with zero expectations for any well written female characters, so maybe you were expecting more and got dissapointed when you didnt see that perfect well rounded female character you wanted. Idk tho.

Last thing, i really need you to give me atleast one example on how she interfers with everything, on how she creates problems for the mc to slove. Istg, ya'll are so unfair to this character then want to get upset when people call you out on it. Why cant you hold the other characters to the same standard as you do for her? Yes i understand that you want well written female characters, and i'll be a fool to think that there isnt a problem with authors writing girls in their stories as nothing more than a love interest, a tool for objectivication, a damsel in distress,, etc. But how's what you're doing going to slove anything?
