Before commenting on the story, I want to address the stupid, horny bitches in the comments who are acting like the lawyer is some kinda angel who is helping MC. Sorry, to say but he isn't. He is a cold-blooded murderer who killed innocent people who may have trusted him and stole stuff from them. And stop addressing him as ML. And he is not even an anti-hero that you want to root for. He is the antagonist. The real villain of the story. Some even blame the brother but not him. Like, what are they smoking? I can't believe people can be thirsty over a guy who killed his own sister just because of a pen. Just because he is good-looking? No wonder so many people in real life are always in a horrible relationship.
Although, it's not a romance, but if you wanna ship MC with someone then why not the detective? He is a zillion times better than the lawyer. But I guess, he isn't handsome enough to satisfy your fantasy, right?
Anyway, coming back to the story. My heart really broke for the siblings. They are surrounded by monsters. If they break free from one then the other one comes in. I pray, brother don't take his own life or be killed by the lawyer. And I hope, MC and the detective are able to uncover the real face of the lawyer soon. And karma bites the lawyer as hard as possible.
I also like to point out, although it's just a theory I have. The main reason why the lawyer gets interested in MC is that he senses the craziness in MC but I think it manifests differently. The lawyer killed her own sister and others simply for his own jealousy/greed but on the other hand MC will kill to protect the one she loves (brother). We can draw a parallel between MC and the lawyer like this. Maybe the lawyer wants to turn MC like him. It will be interesting to see.
And lastly, it will be so interesting to see a K-drama adaptation of this manhwa.
