I'm gonna eat my phone at this point bcuz i can't find anything with the same vibe, concept all that stuff
I absolutely loved, adored, i fell on my knees and sobbed for "Kill the Villainess". I would love if anyone has similar recs like that story bcuz I still think about it, I have reread it so often and I would just love to read something with tge same concept! It was so fresh and fleshed out, I unfortunately haven't found anything similar to it... yet so yeah I would love some recs from you guys
1. https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_way_to_protect_the_female_lead_s_older_brother/ (has the same kinda dark themes. this is on hiatus tho because her publisher is so ass)
2. https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/s_class_hunter_doesn_t_want_to_be_a_villainous_princess_speedcat_version/ (in a sense that they both want to go back to their original world)
3. https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_beast_tamed_by_the_villainess/ (another one that explores dark themes)
I really really want to find some like really heartbreaking stories that scream loneliness, tragedy and so on. Honestly I'm specifically looking for stories where the mc ends up completely alone, and that's it, be it because they thought it was better this way or because they were thrown away by others. No one is there for them, they end up alone, or they disappear alone, nothing more yk?.. Like that's the end
Or if that doesn't exist at least that the trope it's in the story where the MC feels alone or they are left or feel completely alone at some point
Hi, I'm once again asking for the communitys help
I'm looking for mangas, manhawas, whatever u got that depicted loneliness, depression, anything in that type of story. I'm open for everything (gl, bl, straight etc.)
I would like if there that exists, something where the main character is left alone, remains alone in the end of the story, or they were always alone
MOVE THE FUCK OVER YOU PEOPLE ITS MY TURN
*says with rizz* may I interest you in a piece of the "rainbow city" novel???? It's not really visible at first because of the plot but the mc's thoughts later in the novel really depicts how lonely he was and how he closed himself off and simply dedicated his life to research after his mother passed away. IT WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME CRY, SO I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT. I would recommend the manhwa but it doesnt really depict the characters thoughts as well as the novel, ofc it does show the mc's loneliness a bit in the raws, but the novel does it better.
sa in chap 3 of manhwa/ chap 2 of novel translated/ chap 1 of novel raw on booktoki best to skip

Arcane. One of the two mcs(they’re sisters), Jinx, has one of the best/the best representation of depression and mental illnesses. I really suggest watching the show. If you want, I can go deeper and explain how they depict it through her.
houseki no kuni. it doesn't have a modern setting so it might not tackle these subjects in a way you might want to see but it goes so hard with the loneliness.
oshimi shuuzou's works feel very lonely/depressing, deal with societal alienation, and at the end of aku no hana, the female main character is alone
I watched season 2 immediately onec it came out and it absolutely, soul destroyed me (/TДT)/ Absolutely Beautiful tho! I love arcane, all the characters and the world building. I could go in lengths talking about it ┗( T﹏T )┛
thanks for the rec tho (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Ahhh yes, I know the first knew and the author you mentioned after but I never really read them, only heard from others so I wasn't really sure
Aaaah rainbow city is a classic, at least MAAAAAANY recommend it for those subjects and in general that it's good so I think, after so many people talking about it, I should give it a go (▰˘◡˘▰)
Thanks for the explanation as well with the novel and the manhawa. I love novels and if there is a chance to read them I will bcuz like u said sometimes they explain the emotions and the characters better. I think I'll wait for the novel and read the manhwa first
